Picked up the Nikon DSLR package for $400 tax included, with a free 32 GB SD card. The sales rep must've been too overwhelmed, because he gave a $40 discount AND the SD card for free.

Ahh okay. Just make sure you remember to check in the summer then.

Did anyone go out to shop today? I just stayed home; too many people.

Just over half way through finishing reading World War Z. I have no idea how they can make a movie based on it, at least plotwise, as it seems to me the most that can be taken from it is the setting for the story. I doubt they'd simply make a movie based on all of the tiny snapshots given by each "interview".

My boxing day deals

Canucks hoodie $25 (50% off)
Sneakers $50 (40% off)
Far Cry 3 $40 ($20 off)
And a bunch of Christmas candy that was half price

Would have gotten more stuff, but something came up and had to stop shopping.

Yes mam. I bought some tees from urban outfitters. Love that place, hate the people that work there. Bunch of douch bags and stuck up *****es.

This boxing day isn't too great.
Only made the trip because AC3 was $20, and I am curious about Sleeping Dogs.

Has anyone ever tried tutoring English to a non-native English speaker? It's my first time doing it, and I just want to make sure that I will be heading in the right direction.

My building shook for about 4-6 seconds, lots of other Victorians felt it too.

2nd time that's happened. Clearly there is correlation between me having a nap around 9pm and earthquakes.

I have done it a couple of times.
I can't call myself good, but hopefully I can be of assistance.

OMG just watching the Price Is Right and someone is trying to win a trip to Nanaimo, BC.

First off, what a sh!tty place to win a trip to and the announcer pronounced it "Nan-neemo".

I think I might've found another barber.

He charges $20 less, but the guy only cuts hair to a few people(it's his 2nd job.)

I hope I made a good impression.

I feel like it's an exclusive club that I'm trying to get into.

Feel bad for my other barber. He's been cutting me since 2009. Sending him the text message that I didn't need a cut from him next week was difficult for some reason...

I had a team Canada jersey back in '07. They switched the year later.

I got it signed by Kyle Turris and Colton Gillies...I wonder where that jersey went...on a funny note my brother who happened to be a Coyotes fan got his jersey signed by Turris who of course at the time was Phoenix property.

Picked up a couple video games with Best Buy's online sale. Got Sleeping Dogs for $20 and Paper Mario: Sticker Star for $30.

Definitely wasn't about to go into the madness at the malls.

If my guess is right, they are taking a vague premise from the book (UN worker travels the globe collecting accounts of survivors), and transplanting that into a movie wherein a UN worker travels the globe during the outbreak as opposed to after it. Other than that, there appear to be virtually no connections to the actual book whatsoever, which is disappointing, as the book was spectacular.

Went to the Mac Shack in Kerrisdale for lunch. If you like mac & cheese you should check it out, they have some tasty options.
