Czechs were terrible in the 1st game. Fins weren't great but they didn't need to be. Should be a fairly routine win for Finland, they've got a quality team this year.

Anyways, Czech team looks pretty dangerous, especially the forwards. It should be a close game, but i have confidence in our boys. I think It'll be something like 3-1 or 4-2 for the Finns. The Czechs seem to be a good opponent for us. (based on previous results)

Radical resolution. Make sense for many of our players. The trouble is that our 1.liga (second tier) is declared as poor quality. So, produces unusable players for national team.

What's struck me as peculiar is how the roles of Armia and Granlund in their line seem... reversed from what they were expected to be. Armia feeds, Granlund finishes.
What makes this even more bizarre is that the goals they've produced this way have looked hugely similar by all accounts. Joppe throws a cross-ice pass through the traffic and MaG buries it with a onetimer. They've clearly been practicing that one.
Lot's of offensive power on these two teams but the defense/goaltending has question marks. Should be a high scoring game no?
The finnish defence is actually pretty solid (for once), not to mention the fact that most of our forwards are quite good defensively, so I wouldn't expect a high scoring game, but I've been wrong before. In any case I'm very excited to see what our second line can do.
Finland will be fired up for this game after after the Latvia game which didn't go so well, but the game wont be easy. I predict a 4-1/4-2/5-2 win for Finland.

Maybe the Czech players arent that great from the CHL. Russia has 3 players from the CHL and almost lost to Slovakia does that mean the KHL VHL AND MHL SUCK?

He's talking about Finland man, rarely in Russia do junior aged players dominate in a mens league or even get good ice time which is a factor why some Russians leave. In Finland they have more opportunity, obviously any sane Finnish kid would stay if told he has an opportunity to receive a decent role with the local team he idolized growing up.
