I had a team Canada jersey back in '07. They switched the year later.
I got it signed by Kyle Turris and Colton Gillies...I wonder where that jersey went...on a funny note my brother who happened to be a Coyotes fan got his jersey signed by Turris who of course at the time was Phoenix property.
They switched in '09 I thought?
These are pretty nice jerseys, I don't think they'll change them for a while, they're simple but I like the scheme. I went with the Red jersey, I like the white jersey as well, but I decided to go with a simpler color scheme that way if HC does change the jerseys it shouldn't stand out too much.
Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.
What I did was very amateurish.
I taught them the way I learned English, which was basically read a whole bunch of books, remember vocabulary, write a lot of mini essays, watch a boat load of TV and movies, and just keep practicing conversation.
I also did a lot of grammar books, which I was able to both buy from Chapters and borrow from the library.

The switched in 08-09 for that year's WJC I think. So technically we are both right.
Why doesn't playnow.com have UFC betting? or am I just not seeing it
There's some law that doesn't allow it, but I'm not sure if it's a BC thing or what. It doesn't allow betting on 'single' events, like a UFC event. There was a petition going around a couple months back because Playnow wanted to add UFC events but currently can't.
Has anyone ever tried tutoring English to a non-native English speaker? It's my first time doing it, and I just want to make sure that I will be heading in the right direction.
Went to Future Shop downtown & asked a worker if they had any LP's (London Drugs does) & he gave me the funniest look with a blank stare then asked: "Whats an LP?"

I went to London Drugs and asked if they carried safety razors. Same reaction.

I killed any resale value this jersey might have had, but I think it was worth it for a cleaner look. The jersey itself was only $28 on clearance, so I wasn't afraid to butcher it.
I am hearing chatters that the NHL could be back at any time...
If anyone is interested, NHL 13 is $19.99 at BB and FS, which will probably be the lowest it will ever be.
The sale ends on January 3rd.
Initially, I don't know if I should give the NHL any more support...
But I gave in and bought a copy.

I just picked up something too.

On Friday, Dan O'Neill, the NHL’s Vice President for Arena & Event Operations, sent a memo addressed to all "Arena Technical Coordinators, Video Goal Judges and Video Goal Technicians."
It contained – in stupefying details, to the layman – information about technical changes implemented for "the upcoming season," specifically mentioning that the NHL and NHLPA are continuing to work toward a resolution that, if reached, will necessitate that arena personnel are "ready to go."
An off-ice official that requested anonymity told Puck Daddy on Saturday that O’Neill’s email was “the first time all year” the officials have received this type of correspondence from the League.
Another factor for optimism: déjà vu. During the last shortened season, off-ice officials received a similar notice and the NHL was “playing games in less than two weeks," according to the source.
This type of chatter has picked up lately. Teams have been sending messages to their managers and staffers “all hands on deck” messages for the last few weeks: Be prepared to head back at a moment’s notice. In some cases, they’ve been false starts, as the NHL and NHLPA talks have teased a resolution. But that’s what’s been communicated.
got knocked out of my hockey tournament today but all the teams we're in a higher tier than us, got 4 goals in 4 games (including an MVP) so I was happy with how I played this weekend, I did my part.
