Ryan Ellis or Chris Kreider?

Both Ellis and Kreider went in the first round of the 2009 draft, and each have played a few NHL games. Who would you rather have on your team, the defenseman Ryan Ellis or the forward Chris Kreider?

I'd say Kreider has the better chance to reach his full potential.

Ellis. The Flyers is in need of an offensive dman who can be the pp quarterback.

Id say Ellis. A high scoring Defensemen is more valuable than a Viktor Stalberg lite.

Also Ellis is out producing Kreider in the AHL. I think Kreider may have hit his peak last year. He seems to be on the decline.

Kreider is overrated and Ellis is underrated imo. Going with Ellis.

Ellis is to slow, to short, and bad defensively. Bottom pairing upside.

You would rather have Ellis on the Nucks over Kreider? Serious?

We already have two good offensive dmen in Edler and Bieksa..

Power forwards is what we need and Kreider is just that. Imagine how sick of a line of Jensen-Kreider-Kassian would be.

As for the poll, do you mean value as in value to your team or trade value in general? If it's for the latter then I would go with equal.

With Pronger's future up in the air.....they could probably easily find some minutes for Ellis.
