He's had a tough night so far (obviously), but he is grinding it out. Good to see.

That's something you don't hear a lot in an interview.

"Was there any panic in the dressing room?"

"Yeah, there was some panic..."

Now, they botched it bad. By not making the original call, there shouldn't have been a penalty on the play just because of the injury, like there was.

But it was a hit to the head, they just showed it on TSN again and I am just not sure how anybody can say he doesn't make contact with the head. The right call was made, even if they screwed up by missing it originally.
How does he not make contact?

If Camara doesn't make contact there he isn't even in the OHL. You have to finish your check when pucks in their feet like that. With Luza's head burried in his shoulder thats him putting himself in a dangerous spot. I dont like to blame the victim in anything, but its kind of like merging without shoulder checking... you just dont do it.

McKenzie ripped him apart in the first. He saw a lack of breakdowns that led to goals. Doesn't mean he saw good play.

If Luza didn't skate with his head in between his legs, he probably would still be in the game right now. And no it's not a suspension in any league.

Camara's hit was eerily similar to Chris Neil's hit on Johnny Boychuk last season.

I'm not seeing it, he's bobbled a lot of passes and keeps trying to do too much. The play at the end was just the cherry on top. Bobs usually bang on.

Murphy had 1 good shift in the 2nd. More Rielly, less Murphy.

First one was dirty. The head has been, is and will always be a vulnerable zone, so keep your ****ing elbow off it. That's clearly a major.

But when it comes to the second one I have to admit that this is never ever charging. It was a clean hard hit. The problem definitely was that the Slovak had his head down and I've been saying this since ever. Keep your head up!

I thought he was much better in the first game. He had a TOUGH first period today but was much better in the second. Overall, I feel like he has had a positive charge.... but apparently that constitutes a bias.

Not fond of the diving calls. But if thats the only way the players can get Spott to put Rielly on, I won't complain

Don't skate with your head down. He didn't target the head, there has to be some onus on the player not to put themselves in such situations.

Not how the IIHF rules that though. They are pretty black and white is what he is getting at.

Then you take hitting out of the game.

Am I the only one who saw a dive by a canadian player?

How is that not discussed in this thread?

The first major? Yeah. I'm pretty sure he's fine now... What message does that send? Canadian players learned how refs call the game yet we're the bad guys? okay...
