7/11/08: started dating
10/10/09: got engaged
8/20/10: got married
10/10/11: had our daughter
9/8/12: moved into our dream home
I don't think we have anything big planned for 2013. And I'm 100% okay with that.
(love how our daughter was born the exact day we got engaged!)

- My son started 3rd grade and my daughter 1st
- Supporting my wife while she stepped off completely into her own business
- Lost 18 lbs off last year
- Started running, including my first 5K

I'm not even going to lie. I was stuck in my own plowed-out driveway this morning. Trapped in an ice patch. I made my way out after about ten minutes, but look, it happened.

I caught whatever the latest gastro-intestinal bug is thanks to a Typhoid Mary at my sister's Christmas Eve dinner. My son, being the industrious cuss that he is, went out twice during the snow and shovelled. It may not have been blazingly effective, but hey, I'm just pleased that at 8 years old he's willing to chip in like that.
In other news, I have a now 5 month long problem that has me wanting to send a flaming cat turd baggy to one of my contemporiaries in one of our other facilities. He JUST NOW sent me software reg information that we had thought missing and now at least twice if not three times lost (once when he sent it to me via our internal mail rather than sending it trackable post/parcel service, then again when it was lost with Sandy, and now perhaps a third time at the start of this month). It just popped into my email. What. The. ****. Seriously man, way to **** on me. The supplier thinks I've lost it. The business thinks I've ****ed up. And in all of this, the guy who started all of the problem still has the ONE ****ING piece of crucial information and just now decides to send it over? **** me.
I have dinner party / open bar etc / hotel reservations for the Valencia on the Riverwalk. I just don't know if I still want to take the person I said I would

-Caught some nice fish
-Won my big fantasy football keeper league

Last week, my father finally filled in some of the missing/odd details about one of the years of his military service that had some holes in it. "Military advisor" wasn't something I expected.
January 2012 - One year anniversary with partner.
February 2012 - Promoted to mid-level engineer at age 25 with 5 mos experience, lol.
February 2012 - Won trip to Anaheim-Sabres game. First time west of Ohio.
March 2012 - Learned I'd be moving to Redmond, WA with partner (From Syracuse)
April 2012 - Partner begins taking testosterone.
July 2012 - Quit job.
July 2012 - Flew to NC alone to meet family for vacation.
September 2012 - Moved to temp. housing in Sammamish.
October 2012 - Moved into house.
December 2012 - New job?

Bold 1: Yeah he truly is a mini-you. As much as mine is a mini me and both ours looks more and more like us each day.
