Any new info on how the draft lottery would work? I saw the first page. IMO it should be an open lottery. Everyone has an even chance for every pick. I know. Easy for a fan of a playoff team to say. But, there can be such dramatic improvements from year to year. The crappy teams and markets can't be given a double draft. They got their high pick this past summer. Those players have a year to develop and now they deserve another crack at the top prospects. No way.

Each team starts with 3 lottery entries, loses one for each playoff appearance in the last 3 years and one for each #1 overall pick in the last 4 years. Each team has at least one entry. The draft snakes each round.

I hate that decision. Minnesota signs Zach Parise and Ryan Suter. Yet, we've decreed them a crappy team and give them a decent shot at the top pick when It's very unlikely they have even a top 10 pick the next time the puck is dropped.
No Bruins prospects playing tonight, but if you want to watch some draft eligible players, the OHL is live streaming for free tonight.

#OHL Livestream Fan Appreciation Day! Watch any of tonight's 7 games free online at http://ohl.neulion.com/ohl/ and enter promo code OHLFree2012
My recommendation would be Belleville at Guelph.
Charlie Graham in net for Belleville and Jordan Subban on d
Jason Dickinson and Hunter Garlent up front for Guelph -- especially Dickinson, could be a late first rounder and Bruin type player

Damn working afternoons sucks, would of watched some games.
But a question for you Dom.
Do you think the play of Jonathan Drouin at these WJC and the fact that Nathan MacKinnon has not seen a lot of ice time has helped Drouin and hurt MacKinnon for the upcoming draft ?

Think Drouin's regular Junior season has done that. The WJC is just the exclamation point that says, yes he belongs in the same sentence IMO.
The WJC is packed full of scouts/GM's who see what's going on as well. So they know he's not getting a ton of minutes. Don't think that hurts him at all. There's plenty of sample size for Nate.

MacKinnon is being used in a role that he is not use to, a player of his skill is use to being a go to guy. To play a complimetary role is certainly an adjustment, but IMO good for his growth and development and he seems to handling it well, and doing what is asked of him, with the ice time he is getting. I do not think his value is falling any in his draft year

Good pts, I`m fortunate to have a near front row seat to the Mooseheads games. I love both kids, truth is, Drouin, at this stage of his development, could not go out and play the role that Mack is doing right now. Mackinnon is being asked to accept a small role, but play a responsible game in all 3 zones, hands down, between the two, Mack is the better 3 zone player and Drouin can`t play that game at this stage.
Happy for both, my feeling/opinion is, if Spott had Mack on the 2nd line and PP, he`d certainly begin to feel and look a touch more comfortable out there. He`s done his job and with class so far, really happy for both, if anything, I wonder if the scouts look at the way Nate has handled things, and how he`s responded and are equally impressed in spite of the obvious lack of production but acceptance of a new role and responding to it in the limited times he`s asked to?
Interesting stat....the Mooseheads have not lost in the absence of either
