Thoughts:

- Would have Drouin ahead of Monahan
- Lazar at 7 is bold
- I could make an argument for having Pulock ahead of both Lazar/Shinkaruk
- I like Ristolainen a bit more than you do
- Bowey is a bit high for me
- Starting to agree that Bjorsktrand is a 1st
- I like De La Rose a bit more than you do
- Roy/Chase seem about right, but I would say Needham is too high
- Heatherington is a top 40 pick in my books
- Williams/Erkamps have value for me, but I don't see either of them as a top 100 pick
- Rankin has been a bit disappointing
- I think both Petan/Mueller could end up as top 60-90 picks

Love the enthusiasm, but If they really were that good he'd be on pace for more than 30 goals

A bigger Tyler Seguin versus A Patrick Kane. I prefer Monahan, but Drouin is a big riser.

- Lazar at 7 is bold
I think he's getting too much hate on this forum due to his lack of point production. We both know he does much more.

- I could make an argument for having Pulock ahead of both Lazar/Shinkaruk
I like Pulock, but I think he's kind of overrated. I still like both of the forwards.

- I like Ristolainen a bit more than you do
I am a huge Ristolanien fan, him dropping was more due to other players playing great than him playing bad.

- Bowey is a bit high for me
Actually he is falling in my book as well.

- I like De La Rose a bit more than you do
He's another player rising in my book, but I still prefer those players I have above him just a tad more.

- Roy/Chase seem about right, but I would say Needham is too high
I think Needham is a boardline 2nd/3rd rounder.

- Heatherington is a top 40 pick in my books
I love him, but he's a safe pick with not that highest potential. I do have him as a 3rd rounder.

- Williams/Erkamps have value for me, but I don't see either of them as a top 100 pick
I think both could be top 90 picks.

- Rankin has been a bit disappointing
Agreed, but I still think he has potential to be a good top 9 forward.

- I think both Petan/Mueller could end up as top 60-90 picks

Agreed, but now I have both of them in the 3rd round.
woah.

Rockets D men

Curious were you have M Wheaton and J Lees on radar any where?
Team Defence is pretty solid...stats don't lie!

I am a big fan of Lees and have him also in the 3rd round while I think Wheaton will go anywhere from 3rd to 6th.

I disagree, I think his shot is close to NHL level and is one of his greatest attributes, what he lacks on the offensive part is vision for passing, IMO.

What would his numbers look like if he was playing for Regina instead of Portland?
He may be small but he has a huge heart. His stickhandling work is amazing. He should be drafted high like second round.

How good is Zachary Fucale? At a quick glance his stats don't impress me but we know stats are made up of roughly only 4% of the bigger picture. So, how does he compare with other players in the top-10? I guess what I really want to know is the probability of Fucale being drafted in the top-10.

I think this draft is too deep for a goaler going in the top 10. But Fucale has all the strong attributes to be a 1st round pick. Good size, the ability to make big saves, pretty good laterally, good mental game (which is very important for goalers) and IMO his best aspect is the ability to read the play very well. I was a Comrie fan, but when I had more viewings of Fucale, he is the best goaler in this draft no doubt. Needs to work on a few things like foot work (speed), angles, and rebound control, but there is a lot to like here. Currently I think he gets selected where I ranked him, 14th-24th range.
