Yes they were, I thought Ewanyk had a very good game, but Moroz I did not really notice out there

6 to 1 thumping of the Rebels tonight. Lazar with his first fight of the season tonight. Foster with 3 points tonight. LB with a very solid game.
For our Oilers guys Moroz I thought had another quiet night, and Ewanyk with another solid night with an assist fight and a good hit.

Very nice bounce back thanks for the update. I'm glad Ewanyk is doing well again. He is one of my favorite prospects. Not that I expect the world from him but I hope he can turn into a solid depth guy for us.

Damn injuries need to leave him alone. He has been great whenever I have seen him and looked awesome during the subway series before his injury. I honestly think he had a good shot at the team. He is a prospect I think a lot of people forget about.

Yeah he is also a solid guy off the ice dedicated to improving. I think he will make a very good 4th line center in the NHL with the pk being his specialty. I think there is a very good chance you will see him signed before the end of the season if the NHL is running again.

Lazar beat his ass. Great game all round by the Oil Kings. Much better night overall for the two young d, in particular Carroll, who had two assists and looked to be fitting in a lot better.

Great to hear. That is definitely what my realistic expectations for him are. High end I would say 3rd line because he plays the right type of game, just depends if the offence translates.

Oil Kings won last night 6-2 against the Wheat Kings.

I like what Ferland brings to the Wheat Kings. Big, physical. I hope the OKs snag him.

Whole team looked pretty good tonight. Legault had a few good chances, and was solid on the PK. Lowe had a couple of goals, but Samuelsson....wow.

Honestly, he made it look easy. I say it a lot when I'm there, but he looks like a man amongst boys at times. All three of his goals were just great snipes.

Physical game. Ewaynk got in a fight, and also knocked down an official. Moroz also had a goal.

He is. I would like to see the Oil Kings make a pitch for him though.

He's an overager too, and they have a spot open.

Any word on how he is after leaving the game Monday and not returning after his big hit? He may be off the radar now with that.

Hey guys, I know Laurent Brossoit irl, so I'm always cheering for him. Is there any reason in particular why T.Jarry has a much better save % than Brossoit?

I don't really watch Oil King games, so an answer would be appreciated.

LB had an awful start to the season and Jarry started off really strong. Brossoit's been a lot better over the past couple of months.

Yup. The Oil Kings just need to give Jarry a little more playing time this season as he's expected to be the starter next year.

Elliott Pap ‏@ElliottPap

WHL: VanGiants trade LW Kale Kessy, 20, to Kamloops for RW Rob Trzonkowski, 18, and 2015 5th round bantam pick.

Looks like the Blazers are out of the Ferland sweepstakes. Either that or they found out he is hurt bad and will be questionable for a playoff run.

2-0 Oil Kings at the end of the 2nd period after Wilson's goal. The Ewanyk, Moroz, Wilson line is getting it done tonight.

Good news, besides the goal how has Moroz and Ewanyk been playing? Are they playing a gritty game? Are they good at cycling the puck?

I'm just listening to the radio but it sounds like they (Ewanyk, Moroz and Wilson) brought their hard hats to the rink tonight. Both teams have lots of shots through two periods. It's something like 34 to 28 for the Hurricanes.

That line is playing pretty good tonight. The Hurricaines have no answer for them physically

The Canes are 0-5 on the PP tonight. The Oil Kings' league best PK just keeps getting better and better and their powerplay is ranked #1 as well. From a special teams perspective nobody in the Dub can touch them.

3-0 Oil Kings after Legault scores on their first shot in the third. The Hurricanes were really pushing the tempo in the period. 7 minutes left.

Game over. Brossoit played terrific and notches his 6th shutout of the season.
