Sekera finished even with 0 P, 1 SOG, 26:13 TOI in Slovan's 1-0 SOW over Salavat Yulaev featuring Nikita Filatov. Highlights can be viewed HERE where he's #44 in navy blue.
There were five players scheduled for action today:
Ehrhoff finished -1 with 1 A, 5 SOG in Krefeld's 6-2 loss to Mannheim featuring Marcel Goc, Jochen Hecht, Doug Janik, Jason Pominville and Dennis Seidenberg. He assisted on Krefeld's first goal; highlights can be viewed HERE where he's #55 in white.
Enroth played 60:00 TOI with 17 SVS on 17 SOG in Almtuna's 2-0 win over Örebro. He finished with his second consecutive shutout, as his last one came at the Channel One Cup; highlights can be viewed HERE where he's #25 in white.
Pominville finished +2 with 3 A, 3 SOG in Mannheim's 6-2 win over Krefeld featuring Christian Ehrhoff. He assisted on Mannheim's third, fourth and sixth goals; highlights can be viewed HERE where he's #50 in blue/red.
Sekera finished -1 with 0 P, 1 SOG, 24:07 TOI in Slovan's 2-1 SOL to Neftekhimik. He was on the ice for Neftekhimik's last-minute equalizer; highlights can be viewed HERE where he's #44 in navy blue.
Sulzer finished +1 with 1 A, 2 SOG, 2 PIM (cross-checking) in Ingolstadt's 4-2 win over Hannover. He assisted on Ingolstadt's first goal; highlights again can be viewed HERE where he's #25 in blue/black.
The Goc Hecht Pominville line isn't really fair for that league.
Agreed, they easily could have put up 5 or 6 goals alone on that line, just needed to finish a few more chances. Hecht and Pominville still have their chemistry, maybe they can lure their buddy JP to sign in Mannheim .
A couple quick notes... Myers finally returned to KAC's lineup yesterday; Sulzer (groin) has missed Ingolstadt's last two games; Enroth's contract with Almtuna ran out today per THIS tweet.
Several players were scheduled for action today, but only one dressed:
Sekera finished even with 0 P, 2 SOG, 4 PIM, 26:26 TOI -- safe to say he's in shape -- in Slovan's 4-3 SOW over Metallurg MG featuring Malkin and O'Reilly.
Ehrhoff, Myers, Pominville, Sulzer (groin) pulled out of their games after news of a new CBA broke.
Before this thread is closed, just want to publicly thank Woodhouse for keeping this thread going with almost daily info - be it videos, links to watch games or just stats - on Sabres players who were playing overseas during the lockout. Great work!
Sorry about not taking part in this thread the last couple of weeks but my internet was down. Would have definiately kept you up to date with Poms and Hechts Spangler Cup tourney run with at least info - may have been able to post links to game video and highlights as well. Oh well!
There are no more players overseas, as Sekera got an ovation from the crowd on Sunday and is not in the Slovan lineup today, much unlike Visnovsky of the NYI who spoke of staying in the KHL.
