Oh he stands out, stands out a lot. It was he who fanned on the simple board play and dug Latvia in their own zone which led to the penalty. And he's skating all over the place in his own zone, never seems to get it right. It's like watching Ovechkin defending a 1 goal lead in the NHL.
As much as I hate Helo's worship of Bukarts, we have to remember his age and the quality of opposition he's facing. Our whole team has been a complete mess from top to bottom (ok, except maybe for goalies), no one has really showed anything at all. Still hopefully this will be an eye-opener for Rihards and he'll work hard to get even better..
I do understand that and obviously he's a great prospect but that doesn't mean he isn't the one to hold accountable. It's not like "you will be good in few years so you're off the hook", hockey doesn't work this way.
