Three in the top 15 or so. Hard to **** that one up, but the Cardinals could find a way. They could have had Joeckel if they just mailed it in like they are supposed to.

So the Dbacks just bought Cody Ross for three years...if you have money to waste then just sign me.

I don't understand the move at all, unless they are really planning on moving Upton, and that is before the season starts. Our outfield is so crowded right now.

Only thing I hate about living in AZ is having the Cardinals on TV every weekend. They are so bad! I'm a Dolphin fan for life, and only because I grew up watching Marino and friends, and seeing how much the Bidwells didn't give a ****.

Serious question, don't you Cardinal fans want new owneship?

Not a Cardinals fan, but wanting new ownership is a pipe dream. The Bidwell family has owned the team for 80 years going back to the Chicago Cardinals in 1932. They're one of the exceptions where owning a professional sports team is the family's primary source of income.

So if I wind up living in AZ my whole life, I'm going to never appreciate the Cardinals. That's kind of sad. Oh well lol.

There's little to nothing to appreciate. Even 'fans' will admit that. I think the luster of the new stadium will wear off (as well as the superbowl run). This year has brought out the same ol' Cardinals. At least they aren't melting down. They just flat out don't have a QB in a league where you need one. It'd be like the plucky Coyotes trying to start an ECHL call-up goalie all year.

ASU plays Navy in the Fight Hunger Bowl game today. Hopefully they finish the season off with a victory and look to improve next year.

They need to win and hopefully seal the deal on Desmond Harrison. His two other highschool teammates have already signed on with ASU, which gives Graham the inside track. 6'8 305 juco lineman offered by Texas, Oklahoma, and Alabama. Those teams tend to know what they are doing. Getting him would be a major steal and a great cap on the 1st season under the new regime. Another WR committed on Christmas that also gives them the inside track on a four star running back. ASU is in his final three and the two are best friends.

Win the damn bowl, get those two, keep moving the program forward.

Oh, and this is a sneak peak at a new combo they will be wearing today:

The ASU game was so important and well advertised that I forgot they were playing until I got a text from my sister stating "ASU is beating the **** out of Navy".

Atleast they didn't fight on the sidelines like UofA. I'm not saying this game was important for ASU, I figured they would beat Navy, but it's a good way to end the season, and I just hope they recruit and build for next year.

Would be nice.

The longtime Sun Devil in me is a bit cynical in thinking that no matter what we do we'll always lose out to the California schools (ASU players are sometimes from California and often have the "we weren't good enough for a California school so we came to Arizona instead" mentality), but a few seasons atop the Pac-12 and who knows? I remember our great season in 1996 and nothing too great came of that hence my personal cynicism, but hey...

The situation isn't all that different from the Wirtz in Chicago. Michael Bidwill is actually a good football mind and has a sense of decency, hence the firings. They need to appoint Horton, bring in an offensive mind and go hunting for a QB. #7 overall should absolutely be one of the big 3 offensive linemen. No brainer. You take Barkley, the team may as well move to another city.

Watching this Suns game, it's really strange. I actually enjoy watching just how terrible this team is, kind of reminds me of how I watched EVERY SINGLE 2004 Dbacks game. They are entertaining in their ineptitude.

I'm sure the lockout has something to do with it, but I've watched the most Suns games this year since the Nash-Stoudemire-Marion heights.

They aren't Cavs or Wizards bad, but maybe they'll actually snag a decent pick. Assuming Sarver doesn't sell it for a million bucks or something

I hope I win the Coors Light contest, and get the seats on the court. If I win, I'm bringing a poster that says "Sarver Sucks". Suns got the game close tonight but of course our lack of talent lost. We are so bad.

Surprised they fired Wiz with a year left. That is something of a change for the Cards.

The firings are a good start but those firings don't mean **** if we don't replace them with better options. The fact that the Cardinals are interested in Andy Reid sickens me. Even some of the rumors going around on who would replace the the 2 QB's are sickening to me. Sanchez or Tebow? Yuck!

As an out of town football team who roots for the Cards when they don't play the Rams, I'm glad they fired Wiz. I still have hope in Kolb, as the Cards were 4-1 with him playing, and they beat some good teams. If they don't take one of the O-Linemen in the first round, they're done. That's a huge need and not addressing it with that pick would be a dumb move.

Already excited for next season.
