A 3rd.

A year and a half ago, I might have said a 1st+. Wouldn't make sense for Toronto to trade him now, he'll likely rebound.

Not enough for leaf fans to consider moving him.

His value is low; but his ability and potential with the leafs is high. We have faith.

It is not that it would take a overpayment, but a underpayment wouldn't make it worthwhile.

He would not be a hindrance to any of our top 3 lines.

The value of Nikolia Kulemin?

A middle-of-the-lineup winger with size, youth, a 2-way game, and high end goalscoring potential on his side. In other words, one of the wingers that the Leafs should definitely be hanging on to.

And this is why there is zero chance he gets traded.

He plays for the leafs, he is worth absolutly nothing because of <poor reason> and this fact is true because of <failed logic> I'd rather keep Kulemin and laugh when he rebounds from his slump, which he will.

Spending this lockout in the KHL may have done wonders for him. Currently 30 points in 33 KHL games, scored an easy tap in last night. 12 points in 8 games in December. Guess we will see how he goes when he returns.

Can only hope. Because 30 was quite the year.

If you can argue "how is a whole year a slump?" then how can you explain the 30 goal year? he wasn't with any better line mates.

He was shooting like a 4.6% last year if I remember correctly. I don't expect it to go up to 15% or whatever he was shooting in his 30 goal year. But I do expect him to go back to his form which is a 20 goal guy. He's the complete package, and is the type of player we should be looking to trade for, not away.

And even if he never does he is a big defensively responsible winger with amazing wheels. A great 3rd liner with upside who I wouldn't trade for a 3rd.

About as often as hot streaks where you score 30 goals.

Is signing over the hill veterans the answer for Calgary? I swear every time I read one your posts it always has something negative about the leafs. What's your deal?

A late 1st rounder would be involved just like the Versteeg, Brouwer and Fisher deals.

Yea, it looks like he's been dominant on the star sheet. Great to see

A 3rd? Haha.

Steckel got a 4th and the guy can barely skate. Kulemin will get at least a late 1st+. And I would not trade him for that.

He plays along with Malkin and Mozyakin in the KHL. You gotta be really bad not to score playing with these guys.
