Sorry, maybe the expression "ranking" isn´t correct. I really don´t know canadian/usa teams, so maybe any comparison of these teams and their chances for the tournament

The US and Canada Ontario win just about every tournament. Russia finally broke their monopoly on it. Canada Quebec and Pacific are usually in the second tier wise.

So Team Pacific lead USA 2-0 after 1 in their exhibition game. USA scored 5 goals in a row in the second period, 4 points (including 2 goals) for J. Eichel. 5-2 after 2.

The game of the tournament could very well be tomorrow, with the U.S. taking on Team Ontario. Very eager to see how Eichel matches up against the likes of the star studded Ontario roster.

The 95 generation was potentially golden and it was great to see them win it. 96 is lacks depth IMO.

yes, they're being streamed for free. the stream for ontario/us has already started (it's the pre-game skate). the game starts at 1:30.

First time seeing McDavid. It's early so far but man is that kid dangerous.

Can anyone that's more familiar with Ekblad comment on his skating? It doesn't look good so far but it's hard to tell if that's just the stream quality.

If you can shut down the Eichel line in this tournament then Team USA will struggle.

Some IIHF style refereeing penalty for checking too hard gives Ontario a 5-3 and they score.

May as well adopt the IIHF inept rule for officiating, since in the history of international hockey, IIHF officiating has been inept and forever shall be inept.

But damn is McDavid a treat to watch.

Is there a reason all of Ontario's are 1 - 30?

The US did not look like a team that has been playing together all season in that period.

The NTDP gives it's U18 team the 1-30 numbers and the U17 team gets the higher numbers.

Sweden's got some real towers on the back end. Forsbacka-Karlsson looks huge, too.
