Not very good shootout attempts from Ontario, too much dangles. Very entertaining game, Eichel and McDavid stole the show. Ontario showed what they can do in the second period but backed it up with a poor third.

6-5 shootout, first shooter scored for america, mcdavid, hosang were stopped and bennet flubbed his shot i believe.

Birdsall did well in goal for the shootout, gave the shooters nothing and bit on nothing

I hate shootouts.

I'm happy the US team rallied though. It was looking like it'd be a blow out there. Eichel was amazing.

Goalie was C***p...

The same kind of C****p we have been used to for the last 5 years at the U20 .... just really bad....

Hockey Canada has to rethink the way they mold their goalies....

I thought that Fucale and Comrie would be the start of something new...I thought wrong...HC people better wake up or that gold in the U20 will be a long time before we see any...

I think you guys are being too hard on Moran in this game (no idea about his prospect potential). He only gave up one goal you could call weak and that was the first goal to Hitchcock. He also made some big saves, including the kick save on Milano to even get that game to OT.

That game was so much fun to watch. I hope these two teams meet again just to see them try to duplicate that. What a treat. Eichel and McDavid were the class of the game but I thought some others like Milano, McCann, Watson looked good as well.

Milano is a real good one and I really like McCann's speed a lot. What a stacked LI Gulls bantam AAA team that was. Milano, Hitchcock, Birdsall, Fortunato. Willett and Picchinich in the USHL, and Bracco one of the best 97s in US.
