They still have some moves to make, for sure, but the talent is there. The problem right now is they don't have enough veteran talent and leadership to go along with the young, raw talent. Cousins, Thompson and others spend way too much time and energy focused on stuff they shouldn't when they should simply be playing the game.

I hope we get there, but i'm starting to feel impatient.

Could see the Mavericks trading for someone like Cousins pretty soon. Their only goal this season was to make it through the year and take a run at a big fish, considering that's quite unrealistic they may want to trade for one. Surrounding him with the vets they have would probably make him grow up fast too.
Cousins & Mayo would be an interesting match. But what does Dallas have that Sacramento would want for Cousins?

One gets kicked out of games and the other gets kicked out of planes.

Ability to give them cap relief. John Salmons, Chuck Hayes, Marcus Thornton all getting paid quite a lot on multi-year deals. Young players like Collison, Beaubois, Crowder, Cunningham could be appealing to Sacramento. Picks too. That being said, every team could provide something appealing to the Kings for Cousins. Headache relief.

I can't imagine. Not only do you have kids who don't know winning in the NBA with consistency and like you mentioned too focused on other things, but then you have the whole situation surrounding the team with the location factor. A lot of frustration piling on and something that could break them even more so. Using baseball being an Astros fan, the biggest worry I have for the Houston kids is too much losing becoming frustrating and eventually breaking them. Then you have to start all over again.

NBATV is doing a bit of The Association preview with the firing of AJ. I don't recall the last time a coach had a press conference being fired.

A lot of pins dropping now! James Johnson hits a 3 to win the game 106-105!

Thanks. That was just frantic happening so quickly, I didn't even know who took the final shot til they replayed it. And like NBATV is saying crazy how of all people who lose the ball it was Kidd.

NBA retweets:

Just like Keith Smart drew it up...

Before that shot, I was dead certain that James Johnson was legally blind. Cousins anticipated that pass admirably.

And I don't think Keith Smart knows what a drawing board is....

Wow, is Copeland ever miserable defensively. I'm not a huge fan of his to be honest. Yeah he can score but that's about it and he's like 28 or 29 and a rookie.

Salmons again showing me he is one of the league's more underrated players.

To be fair, they were down by 27. Cousins made a great play on defense to intercept a lob by Kidd and Johnson hit a lucky 3.

When your team is 10-19, you'll take 'em any why you can get 'em.

What will it cost us?

I hope they play better tonight vs Golden State.

Shouldn't this ****face be more supportive of his hometown Raptors and Leafs? I know those teams suck right now, but I don't think I've ever heard him give a shout out to any of the Toronto teams. Hell, is this guy even proud of being Canadian?

That "********" hung out with Chris Paul's son for an entire game and made the kids' day.

What a dick.

Seems as though the Celts have finally fell off (or maybe it's too early to say so).

Raps are hitting everything right now.
