My oldest got 'Ted' for Christmas. We just watched it.

I should be checking out Django next weekend when my inlaws are visiting and the wife and I can go on a date.

Took my son to see "The Hobbit" yesterday. Even better the second time around, because you miss so much the first time.

Is it just me, or is almost every trailer these days for a zombie movie, apocalypse movie, post-apocalypse movie, or zombie apocalypse movie?

My single brother and brother in law (at the time, they were) both used to laugh at us when we would go to 3-4 movies in a week when my mother in law came up from FLA... Its the only time you can do it for free.

got to look at two great cars today, took one for a test drive - the one I thought might be too girly blue, wasn't at all. More of a silver. Had a lot if torque for a small car too, had a lot more pick up than my recently departed impreza outback

Then an 06 sub impreza outback with only 105k on it little more expensive at 7400 but the interior is cleaner indicating it was probably taken better care of in general

So basic run down

06 sub impreza outback with 105k at 7400

05 sub impreza outback with 139k at 6900

Both below kbb and nada, haven't test drove the 06 or heard the engine yet, but looks very clean

"At least he's clean."

::wonders if anyone will get that reference::

A test drive tomorrow might be a good idea - you can see how it handles on terrible roads.

Still can't shake the other night from my mind. Gonna be a long night of writing ahead of me. Might even get a novel out of this whole experience, who knows. I know I said it before but I'll say it again...I'll never put my own child in the position I was in.

So with my flight benefits, my goal this coming year is to hit every MLB stadium for a game. May just wing it on what order, but thought it'd be kind of neat to do something like oldest stadium to newest, or East to West, or something. I dunno.

Where do you fly? The moon? That's a lot of flight benefits to get to every stadium...

Hahaha I work for Delta. So I can fly for free on them. I live in Minneapolis, and believe I can go nonstop to every MLB city.

I'm guessing that the 2006 recently had the timing belt done so if you like that one better go for it because the 2005 is going to need a timing belt replacement in the next 40k which will run you around $700 at least.

If you like the 06 better, I wouldn't hesitate spending the extra money because at 105k that thing is barely broken in.

My roommate just bought a 2012 WRX with a 2.5 turbo. Holy crap does that thing have some serious power behind it.

subaru's are nice. however, living in the mountains, I'd have preffered if the wife stuck with a Jeep.

We have some decent Blizzak snow tires on the Forester (10), however, in slush, I find that the wheel-wells are too small - and they hold snow/slush in and that then makes the vehicle slip. again, we really live out there in NH - so many might not run into that issue.
