3-hours isn't too much. But the way WWE books, 3-hours is too much.

yeah.
when they show 3 times what hapenned earlier. gets annoying
plus smackdown, main-event, etc... theres basically no split anymore. they could do well with 2 hours. and the rest in other show. imo.

Its just too much & they dont have the talent or booking for it.

When i say talent, i mean they havent built enough people up to make people care about them. The talent & potential is there.
That's exactly why 3-hours is fine. The problem is their booking. They should be giving lower carders mic time on main shows, as well as the odd main event match. RAW and Smackdown should have 2 main eventers wrestle per week. The rest should be lowcarders and midcarders getting their chance to shine. Main Eventers should wrestle on the smaller shows, so that people actually watch them, and can see some of the lowercarders as well.

Say there's 3 matches per hour on smaller shows [on RAW/Smackdown 1 squash per hour] (no brand split because it basically doesn't exist anymore except to have two world champs), here's a sample booking;

jobbers= santino, yoshi, mcgillicutty, otunga

RAW
hour #1
Dolph Ziggler vs. Christian 8:00-8:15
Primo & Epico vs. The Uso's 8:35-8:45
Ryback vs. local jobber 8:52-8:55

hour #2
International Airstrike vs. Team Hell No 9:10-9:23
Brodus Clay vs. David Otunga 9:33-9:38
Alberto del Rio & The Miz vs. Rhodes Scholars 9:45-9:57

hour #3
R-Truth vs. Antonio Cesaro US Title 10:00-10:15
AJ vs. Natalya 10:30-10:38
Randy Orton vs. Heath Slater 10:48-11:00

NXT
random developmental matches

Main Event
Sheamus vs. Wade Barrett 9:00-9:25
Kofi Kingston vs. Ted DiBiase 9:30-9:40
John Cena vs. Tensai 9:45-10:00

Superstars
Evan Bourne vs. Hunico 9:00-9:20
Kaitlyn & Layla vs. Eve & Tamina 9:30-9:40
Zack Ryder & Santino Marrella vs. Drew McIntyre & Jinder Mahal 9:45-10:00

Smackdown
hour #1
Big Show vs. Yoshi Tatsu - 8:15-8:20
Prime Time Playas vs. Team Hell No 8:25-8:50
CM Punk vs. Trent Baretta 8:50-9:00

hour #2
Big E. Langston vs. local jobber 9:10-9:15
Alex Riley vs. Michael McGillicutty 9:15-9:25
Sin Cara, Rey Mysterio & Kofi Kingston vs. Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, & Roman Reigns 9:35-10:00

Saturday Morning Slam
Zack Ryder vs. David Otunga 10:00-10:10
International Airstrike vs. Primo & Epico 10:20-10:35
John Cena vs. Michael McGillicutty 10:50-11:00

of course you don't have to use the whole roster.. and the final weeks before PPVs, you'd really cut down on using the lowcarders and stack the cards -- but you do this, and fill int he blanks with promo time for just about everyone and you have a product people care about.

I haven't watched wrestling for years but I always thought Kurt Angle was really good after the whole goody good, Olympic gold winner image was shed. If I recall his 'loser' image and banter against Stone Cold was top notch.

- I like his new gimmick but Daniel Bryan is nothing more than a midcarter
- Damien Sandow is boring. His gimmick needs something more
- Ryback deserves to be a main eventer and a future champion (same thing for Ziggler but I don't think it's an unpopular opinion)
- Alberto Del Rio and Sheamus have the total package to be huge stars in this business. They would have been a lot more effective in the ruthless aggression era

Agree Smackdown was actually pretty entertaining compared to raw for quite a while there.

Smackdown was awesome in the Ruthless Agression Era. Lesnar, Angle, Benoit, Los Guerrero's, Team Angle, Thugonomics Cena, Cruiserweights, etc. I'm sure I'm forgetting a lot too.

Stone Cold was a botch-machine. Had the personality to make up for it though.

Stone Cold was incredible in WCW. His knee's really messed him up in WWF.

Nah, I think he started slowing down in WCW. Most of his great WWF matches were gimmick matches or street fights. Even pre-neck injury, his best WWF match was the strap match with Savio Vega. Weird to say Savio Vega and great match in the same breath (Vega was good but never given a spot on the card to work good matches).

- Dean Ambrose isn't the greatest thing in the history of forever. He's great, don't get me wrong, but when people start revering everything he does, it's annoying.

Last year at Wrestlemania and the build up towards it, I enjoyed watching John Cena more than The Rock.

I agree completely. I hate Cena as much as the next guy, but the Rock just went out and threw a bunch of catchphrases around and got old in 30 seconds. Cena made some salient points about being the guy that stuck around and did everything for the company to the point where many fans were turning on him, and he was still there. His character drives me nuts, but I've got nothing against the guy John Cena.

I miss Chavo's "Kerwin White" gimmick. It was fun as all heck

Best heel of the last 10-ish years? Muhammed Hassan. Not even close.

I don't get the Damian Sandow hype. He's enteraining, but Santino is enteraining....I wouldn't put him any higher than the midcard or a tag specialist.

I actually thought David Aquette as WCW champion wasn't a terrible idea. I like unpredictability....give me a bizarre confusing swirve over a typical "John Cena fights off 7 guys with one hand tied behind his back while saluting the American flag and curing cancer with his tears" that we see every week on WWE

Santino is a good worker and I'd probably like him a lot if they dropped the whole slapstick jester gimmick and gave him a push as a serious guy. He's got MMA and judo experience, so he's automatically more credible than 2/3 of the roster.

I know the kids need a comedy face to laugh at, and SOMEONE has to be that guy, but I think Santino is better than that.

I enjoy the faster paced style you see in Japan than the slow plodding style used in WWE. The daredevil type moves mixed with excellent techical wrestling is easier to watch IMO and much more exciting. Check out old Dynamite Kid, Tiger Mask, Bret Hart, Black Tiger, etc... matches on Youtube. I got my first taste back in the mid eighties with a match between The Cobra and the Black Tiger. Its at the 48 minute mark.

Chris Benoit should not be erased from the WWE. By the same means what he did should not be erased either.

In the ring Benoit had a hall of fame career.
