Gibson made a few huge saves to keep his team in the game

(3 on 1, Schefelie from RNH, Drouin break) USA defense needs to wake up, they look dreadful aside from Trouba.

Seth Jones is having a very bad game, at least 4 turn overs just in the first.

I hope they don't call it that tight the rest of the way, that play on Strome happens about 100 times a game, are we gonna get 100 slashing calls? Lol. I'm just still in a bit of shock after that call...

IIHF refs are a joke, get used to it.

I've seen some pretty bad stuff, but that was beyond the bad you expect going into the tournament. I guess I need to lower my expectations even more...

Nuge is boss. Standing mahfaggas up.

Seth Jones is getting lit up all over the place out there.

Edit: Gibson making 3 big stops after being down 2-0 could be what wakes the USA up. Canadians need to score the third goal in the game other wise things could get interesting.

Hamilton has been a great big disappointment this tournament. I recall a Hamilton Vs. Schultz poll and most were saying that Hamilton was better AINEC. They got the AINEC part right.

Also Rielly is one hell of a skater, he could turn out to be a great D in time, good pick by the Leafs.

Hamilton has never impressed me in any game that i've seen him play. I really don't see anything special in his game besides the fact that he is big and can skate.
I like Reilly a whole lot better TBH.

I'm so glad every commercial reminds me of the lockout, that's swell.

Or that the NHL is the only hockey while we watch a great hockey game.

Reinhart has been fantastic. Still a very dangerous game, lots of back and forth.

RNH needs to be better in the 3rd than he was in the 2nd. And Ryan Murphy needs to be a HS against the Russians.

Too sloppy and a bit too many chances for my liking. Hopefully Canada can be very disciplined and tighten up a bit in their own end in the 3rd period.

Great minds.

This third is going to be huge, to be honest no one on the Canadian roster has been bad. Very solid game so far from top to bottom, Drouin has looked great, McNeil has actually been pretty good too.

I think the game looked a little sloppy because the teams are fairly evenly matched, and both teams has pretty good defense.

This is not Germany and Slovakia, much less room and time to make plays. Pretty good intensity out there though.
