While he should make his linemates better, his linemates need to be able to get him the puck, which they have seldom done. Kurely has turned over the puck more often than he's given it to Galchenyuk. Galchenyuk more often than not is waiting on the wing for a pass.

LOL @ Ferraro trying to justify Housley having his 4th line and then his 3rd line on the ice after an offensive zone face-off when down by 2.

Seems like Galchenyuk is getting frustrated. 3 shots from him on his last 3 shifts. I don't begrudge him at all if he wants to be a puck hog the rest of the way; his teammates haven't shown squat.

Is it me, or at least every time Gally touches the puck, something happens? Basically Gally plays a certain way..more of a cerebral game, and his teammates play like "chicken's with their heads cut off". Lack of top end talent on this USA team..I mean, they have good fundamentals, they skate really well and check well, but they're missing some talent.

Hey man! Sometimes the coach sees things that no one else does!

Gally shooting a lot more but that's because Kurlay gives the puck away like he gets paid for it, incredibly weak US forward squad is limiting Gally's ability to create anything. The fact Miller is still centering the first line and Housely is running 4 lines like it's going out of style is a joke. I would be a lot more pissed if I was an American.

If he can't get the puck, it's because his teamates keeps having it. If true, he has, like Ferraro said, to become a target to get the puck. Gally just blends in right now. And not in a good way. Go and get the puck. Do work harder to be in open spaces. Mind you, I do know that he's not playing with all-stars. But he is THEIR all-star. In the end, US is a really weak offensive team. And their debacle started with some of the choices they made but also the kind of year they are in. Just a weak offensive team.

I couldn't disagree with you more. Galchenyuk simply hasn't had the puck enough because he is on the wing and his linemates are playing like garbage. He has been by far the most dangerous forward for the U.S. and his linemates have to start looking to get him the puck.

The problem with this team is their forward group while being fast have a very low hockey IQ and almost no creativity. I feel bad for Galchenyuk as he has been in position many times to create something but his linemates are suffering from an acute case of tunnel vision.

Housley isn't giving him a good chance to take over the game, he's running 4 lines like he's been doing, and whenever Gally gets on the ice he teammates hand the puck over to Canada. He needs top minutes on the top line to get something going, Housley is clueless. The kid has more points then your entire first line, how do you not double shift him on a top line in a game where you're down 2-0?

This Nike commercial is so ****ing stupid. No one has taken hockey away, that makes no sense.

Stamkos' "beard" makes me laugh at least.

Point was not to absolve the rest of the team and the coaching of any stupidities they might be doing. They are bad. But I'm totally against saying that Gally is solely a victim here. As a star player, you have to create something. He doesn't have the puck enough? Sure, but when he does, he doesn't do enough with it. It's not like he's creating tons of spaces, and gives passes to guys who has open nets and they shoot wide. Not happening right now. He did have some shots but just shoots wide. Gally is just not doing enough. But they surely have more problems than him that's for sure.....like I keep saying. But we should have the right to criticize a Habs property. Pretty sure that if he'd be a Leafs or Bruins, we would have a whole lot of fun.....yet, that would be wrong as well.
