Looking at their site I think they have 17 games left on the season

MMg with the win today over Torpedo 5-3. Sasha potted one for Torpedo, Ryan O'Reily scored 1 for MMg, Kulemin had 2 and Malkin with the Gordie Howe hat trick ... Highlights with English commentary ....

Was the Malkin fight any good? All you get to see is the last second of it with him landing on top of the other guy.

Are you guys watching these games. I was deployed since before the playoffs last year and need a hockey fix pretty bad. If you guys wouldn't mind letting me know where I can find these games and a schedule I would be super appreciative.

After today's game Malkin's at 1.59ppg. That's a 130 point season in 82gms
Would he have been able to do that in the NHL this year? Probably not, but I think its quite reasonable to suggest that he could of been in the 110-120 range(sans injury of course). He wouldn't have had to make any adjustments from last year - only averaged about a point a gm over the first month over there. And I don't think he has had the same chemistry with any like he did with Nealer last year.

MMg is a most spectacular team to watch now. Almost every goal is like a masterpiece. MMg has no mercy for opponents: Amur was defeated 7:0.
Mozyakin scored 4 goals: 4+1, Malkin 1 + 4, Kulemin 0 + 3.

The KHL scoring race in the end of 2012 with M&Ms skyrocketing:
1. Mozyakin 63 = 28g+35a GP 37
2. Malkin 59 = 19+40 GP 35
3. Radulov 46 = 17+29 GP 35

Does Malkin understand that it's okay to have a day off?

It's impossible, once he's started he cannot be stopped.

There is just one team in the KHL that had met with MMg twice and has victories in both games: it's archrival Avangard Omsk.

As Penguins fans, is there a scenario where we should want Malkin to stay in Russia to help Magnitogorsk win the Gagarin Cup? I can sympathize with Malkin here.

Like, if there's an NHL season? No.

If the KHL finals are the only game left on the schedule when a new CBA is signed, I want Malkin to skip the finals and be on a plane back to Pittsburgh asap.

It's really too bad that Mozyakin won't ever come to the NHL. He's everything we need in a winger, and he'd cost no assets to acquire.

I honestly wouldn't feel alright about gutting Magnitogorsk by hypothetically signing Malkin, Mozyakin, and Gonchar after a cancelled 2012-13 season.

We're sports terrorists. When we want golden diamonds, we take them.

not my team not my problem, that's what I say. Seriously though, I thought we were talking about if this season came back. There would be absolutely no reason to feel bad about taking Malkin back. His obligation is here.

The NHL doesn't deserve Malkin back to sell their product this year.

I sincerely hope there's no NHL season and Malkin plays in Magnitogorsk for the rest of this year.

... but just this year.

Couldn't possibly be expected from a Magnitogorsk boy.
I think it very likely that he is staying for their playoff-run.
