You wouldn't be saying that if you were watching this. The Kings are a train wreck, especially in their own end. Zizka and Yushkevich were bad. Miller was rock solid though. He hammered a few Ducks along the boards.
Having just watched the first period, it was completely one sided and dominated by the Ducks. The Kings could hardly connect consecutive passes and simply had no chemistry going. I guess that's bound to happen with a patchwork lineup with so many players nursing injuries (Deadmarsh, Belanger, Schneider, Visnovsky).
At the very least, this dismal team netted the Kings the draft pick that turned into Dustin Brown. Unfortunately they blew their two other first round selections as well as their 2nd round pick in 2003.
