Nope. Not in this season.

He was awesome last year, but kinda lost it this season. I would still take guys like Stephan, Genoni, Conz or (if he keeps playing like this) Flüeler over him.

And you should know that this was one of the worst games I ever saw him play. He's better than that.

2 games is a bad sample. he was bad for this tournament but he is a really good goalie, althought he is having a somewhat so-so season.

I like how Davos has both a Joggi and a Berra on their team.

The best goalie in the NLA are Stephan (Genève, 93.33 %, played some games with Dallas), Conz (Fribourg, 93.26 %), and Buhrer (Berne, 91.92 %). Don't count the NHL goalies (Schneider who played 7 games, and has 91.92%).

Just start clicking around. Team Canada at the Spengler Cup really has nothing to do with the NHL, North American hockey, or even North American pro sports. It is a classic European, invitational "Cup" tournament. Europe, obviously being much less centralized than North America, doesn't organize its sports with the same level of singular rigidity that we do. Random cups can be held, and teams can be invited (and sometimes ever comprised) at the whims of whatever person/group is organizing it.

I think you can get a Canada jersey minus some of the advertising as well.

Well that's what the numbers tell you but evidently NT coaches see it differently. I just wanted to know how does it look from the fans perspective as stats often doesn't really tell the whole story.

According to Paul Romanuk (commentator on TSN) they'll be sold on Hockey Canada's website starting Jan 7th.

Couple of really good games today, feel bad for Schneider but I don't think he was really at fault for most of them

I thought Thornton was offside on that final goal but still, an amazing shot

What's up with how ugly the Spengler Cup jersey sweaters are? Are those advertisements on the sweaters?

These are like the ugliest jerseys I've ever seen, hands down.

I wonder if any players on Davos or Canada will get a chance to play in the NHL? Some of them have NHL talents IMO.

Yea there's some guy named "Thornton", he's excellent. Although he seems to choke a lot.

He's also a big whiner when things don't go his or his teams way. Would be nice for Canada to win the Spengler Cup in front of Thornton.
