Even if they lost today it should have been Peterson

I like Peyton so that wouldn't bother me but I hope Peterson wins the award and doesn't have to share it with anyone else. Even though he didn't break the record, he still might have had the greatest individual season in NFL history when you look at all the factors.

There is absolutely no argument to be made anymore for anyone other than Peterson.

Peterson's my favorite player in the league, but Manning took the Broncos from a bad team to the best team in the league coming off 4 neck surgeries.

They both deserve it

Bad team? They were a playoff team last year. The Vikes won 3 games. Hello anyone home?

As I watched every Viking game. Now they were bad. To do what AP and the Vikes have done without Harvin is amazing. MVPederson.

I have to disagree
They were a playoff team with tim tebow at qb
Even win a playoff game with him

The vikings had 3 wins last year, and would have had only 3 or 4 with out Peterson this year

I understand the whole neck surgery thing, which is why he should get come back player of the year imo

I'm not saying peterson shouldn't win it, I just disagree that people are saying Manning has no case either.

Trust me there offense was suspect and got really lucky. There defense was fine, but Tebow and the offense didn't help them out at all.

I'm just saying Manning took the a mediocre team to the "best" team in the league.

AP should get comeback player too. His knee was ripped to shreads. Running backs need their knees. Simply amazing what he has done. Now if Manning had comeback from say Tommy John surgery then I would consider him.

A month ago I'd have said Manning. But Peterson really cranked it up in the last few games and just put up some ungodly numbers in the last few games. For example, today with 199 yards. He took the Vikings by the scruff of their neck and got them into the postseason. 9 yards short of an all-time single season record. When a RB cracks 2,000 yards they usually win the MVP.

The year Dickerson ran for 2105 Marino was MVP.

As said, not only were the Broncos a playoff team, they went to the 2nd round. I was a Manning advocate early, but what AP has done is unprecedented. Over the last 10 weeks of the season, he outran Christian Ponder's arm.

I still think AP should win it, but Manning is the best player on the best team... It isn't ridiculous to think that Manning could win it.

If we're voting for the "best player on the best team", then Manning wins it. If we're voting for MVP, AP is far and away the front runner and one of the best definitions of the award in recent years.

I still think theres grey area in telling who the most valuable player is.

If you switched Manning and AP would the Broncos be the best team? No. Would the Vikings make the playoffs? Hell yes.

Do you watch the Vikings? Those recievers can't seperate themselves from defenders to save their butts. You throw AP on Denver with an average QB with those recievers and they very well could be the best team in the league. MVPederson hands down.
