Also, the Broncos were 23rd last year in terms of YPG and 25th in terms of PPG. This year they are 4th in YPG and 2nd in PPG.

Yea having a guy who struggled with the forward pass and had the Bronco's going back to the days of the leather helmets created limitations to the offensive numbers. I am a BIG Manning fan so I am not trying to flame him just wanting to give props to some of the other boys on the team who are very good at their craft.

Exactly.

Also, Manning has elevated his receivers games. DT and Decker have improved a lot by simply playing with Manning this year, not to mention how he saved Stokley's career.
Rodgers is playing for a new offensive coordinator this year as well. The neck surgery issue doesn't make Manning any more important to his team, it doesn't make him a better player on the field. The story is great, but it shouldn't be a consideration for MVP imo.

With respect to the play of DT and Decker, anyone can see that these guys are talented players, especially DT. DT was a first round pick and was injured most of last year, but in his last 7 games (including playoffs) had over 700 yards receiving with Tebow as his QB. DT had already taken his game to the next level before Manning ever got there.

Quality Sunday of football.

Peterson is absolutely filthy and although I am a huge Peyton Manning fan, AP deserves this MVP imo.

Totally agree, I don't think it's even close. Teams are stacking 8 and 9 guys in the box against him, and he's still shredding them.

Absolutely and while Ponder didn't play especially poorly today, I'm still not a believer. Draft a QB.

Oh yeah, got an AP t-shirt for Christmas. Excellent timing.

I personally think AD and Manning should split both the MVP and the CPOY awards. Peterson almost single handled propelled his team into the playoffs, while Manning took the Broncos to 1st in the AFC and made them a legitimate Super Bowl contender.

Peterson is MVP for me. But JJ Watt is right there and should be in the running as well IMO. Manning has had a hell of a year for sure.

But if there was ever a year there was a player more valuable than a qb this has been it.

Manning has been arguably the best QB, but no one is even in AD or Watt's league at their positions. admitted Viking bias however.

Well the Wild cards start today!! something to look forward to after the WJC showing.

Who do you have today winning?

Cin vs Hou
Min vs GB

I am going out on a limb with my first pick but I am going with CIN and then GB for the win. I would prefer Min to pull the upset though and should probably go put some Vcash on them just in case

Pretty much a lateral move at QB if you ask me.

Sad to see Ponder not be able to play in this Viks game. Not that he would of won it for them or anything.

I agree

Not that Ponder would have won it, he gave us the "best" chance to win.

I hope Spielman (the gm) brings in a vet QB as a back up at least.

I agree. Not a vikings fan by any stretch but Webb was tough to watch last night. Maybe you guys could snag Alex Smith.

THe games today should be pretty good.

Picking Indy and Seattle to win today. Split yesterday 1-1

Big Seahawks fan here. I am really looking forward to this game today. Pretty evenly matched teams other than defense, Seahawks have the advantage there.

Well dude, I'm a big Redskins fan and you are correct in your assessment. I would favour the Seahawks in this game but it is in Landover for a change. I would feel better about the Skins chances if RGIII were 100%. If there's going to be a blowout the Seahawks would be on the winning end (i.e. if the Skins win it will be close).
