Yes. Absolutely. If anyone says otherwise, they're full of it.

Not really. I feel like a #1C should be able to do better than 4th in the NHL in points on a rebuilding team.

Good one. I meant the often injured and inconsistent Jason Spezza.

What do you want us to say? That we prefer Toews? Random Hawks poster is random.

I prefer Toews over Spezza. There I said it.

Spezza missed 2 games last season, ended 4th in points in the NHL on a rebuilding team and is over a PPG player in his entire career. Yeah, I'm happy with him.

*Looks at stats since lockout*

*Realizes that Spezza is 5th in points among all forwards in scoring since lockout*

Which inconsistency are we talking about?

Oh! You mean the one who has one of the best PPGs since the last lockout. Yeah, still, he should really crack the top 3.

I mean, the bum was only able to get Heatley 50 goals. Imagine if Heatley played with someone like Thornton! 60...EASY!

That's a good looking goal Spezza just got.

With all he's done for us...I'd still trade him in the blink of an eye for Nicklas Backstrom.

Anyone else remember Eriksson-Backstrom-Alfie in 2010.

So so very awesome.

Spezza to Tavares again, short handed it's a beaut.

My god..this is ridiculous. Another assist by Spezza on a Tavares goal. He just put the puck in JT's stick without even looking giving him a breakaway for a shorthanded goal!

JT in Ottawa would be as good as it gets.Never gonna happen though. Insane chemistry.

Wasn't Tavares' style of play compared to Heatley years ago? Maybe that's why they have great chemistry, because Spezza feels he's playing with a young-Heatley (pre-shoulder injury)

Nothing says inconsistent like a PPG career.

In don't think you know what the word means, maybe injury prone?

Spezza underperforms when he puts up points like Toews.
