Zack Smith and Colin Greening both playing in Denmark atm. And both for a team in Northern Jutland.

Aalborg Pirates & Frederikshavn Whitehawks. They are big rivals.
They played infront of a sold out crowd on saturday.

I think both your boys posted points.

Here are some highlight links

This looks like a great time! Crowd is loud, one guy had a flag with a middle finger on it I think. Zack Smith gives the goalie a nice little shove before celebrating in the crease. Good stuff lol

Spezza is on his way back.

Ottawa centre Jason Spezza has left Switzerland but has indicated he will return to Raperswill if there isn't an NHL season.

Jason returns back home to Ottawa tomorrow, and he won't play tonite for Rapperswil-Jona. He's expecting an agreement shortly and wants to be ready for the upcoming NHL start.
Yesterday he had a motivating and touching speech to his Teammates here in Rappi, and he told, if against all expectation the NHL won't start, he'll might come back.
He said also that it was a great experience to play for Rappi in the Swiss NLA and he enjoyed how he and his familiy were heartly treated by the people here.

So from my side it was a pleasure to give you folks some infos about our games and his performance. Until now I never had a favorite NHL Team but I think I will follow the Sens from now on a little bit closer . It was fantastic to see Jason in our colors, we're very thankful for the points he made, and I never thought that a Star Player like he is, could be such a friendly and down-to-earth person. Wish him and the Sens all the best to reach the dream of the Stanley Cup !

Danish Media reports that Zack Smith has left Denmark today, to go home to Ottawa.
His reason is that the NHL is supposedly about to start.

Hey all,

Eric Condra is absolutely tearing up the Bundesliga league at an unprecedented rate. He has 10 goals and 5 assists in 10 games and many of those goals are coming in the 3rd period. While listening to his last game, I was extremely impressed with how he was moving around the ice, especially in the 3rd period.

Don't look now, but it seems like Erik Condra is finally starting to display his offensive potential.

Discuss.

Jokerit played its first game after Karlsson's departure yesterday and lost 4 - 2 to SaiPa (last goal an empty netter). Jokerit also was missing Ilari Filppula, the best player in points in the whole league and 6 players are playing in WCJ in Ufa.

Today Jokerit won Tappara 3-2 in shootout. Ruutu assisted the 2-2 goal just 8 seconds before the end of the 3rd period with the goalie pulled out.

And Ruutu was the sole scorer in the shootout. Ruutu has become a shootout wizard it seems. I tried to find his shootout stats for this season but came up empty.

http://www.nelonenpro.fi/videot/media/499932

Assist @ 2:35 and Ruutu's goal after that.

And no worries, I won't be posting too much about ex-Sens Ruutu's games.

we've seen some of ruutu's shootout prowess in north america. he's pretty creative. maybe if he could think the game quicker he could have been more than an agitator that could chip in offensively.
i liked him here, and i'm glad he's doing great in his home country

Jesse Winchester has signed with Jokerit in the Finnish Elite League. The contract is for the rest of the season. Nice to see another ex-Sens player in Jokerit. Ruutu is doing well, Karlsson played a phenomenal lockout in the same team. Hope Jesse does well. Jokerit is leading the league by 7 points and they're looking for depth with this signing regarding the playoffs.

Good for him. Glad to see him playing somewhere. Can't understand why he doesn't get a sniff in the NHL. Edmonton for one could probably use someone with his skill set.

There are a couple players on this team that I would prefer Winchester over. Was pissed when JOB took his number. He should have taken Butlers.

Jesse played his first game in Jokerit today as a first line winger. It was an ok game, nothing fancy but he did his job ok. Took a lot of face-off wins, played in the 1st powerplay unit and assisted the 3-1 empty netter at the end of the game. I believe his game will get better when time goes on and he gets used to the team. He should be quite ok with the bigger rink as he played for TuTo during the lockout.

JAN 29, 2013: SAIPA @ JOKERIT 1 -3
G 0, A 1, P 1, +/- +1, PIM 0, S 4, TOI 21:43

Highlights from the game: http://www.nelonenpro.fi/videot/media/506373

http://www.iltalehti.fi/iltvsmliiga/...81477_v8.shtml

Edit: Winchester played with number 83 as number 18 is already taken in Jokerit by Semir Ben-Amor. He did play with number 16 during the lockout and that number is available. He's born in '83, maybe that's why he uses it.
