Whitesnake loses all credit for 1 year, due to his #1 pick in the HF Habs mock draft

But yeah, I'm liking trouba a lot, too.

Jones has more upside than Trouba. Trouba is on his 2nd WJHC, Jones has never played vs a team of Canada's calibre before.

I'm not sure what one has to do with the other. Don't think anyone was making that claim, even though Jones was undeniably awful this morning. But bad games happen, and this isn't a tournament that favours underagers. Doesn't mean anything in terms of their upside or NHL potential

Trouba has looked fantastic all tourney long though. Looks like the Jets got a real player there along with Scheifele.

I would never disagree with this, saying that Trouba has impressed me more than Jones is more about how good Trouba has looked.

It looks to me like the Jets management is drafting well, at least early on. They got a lot of heat for the Scheifele pick but I like him more than Strome actually.

Amazing picks indeed. Trouba as been fantastic. Dangerous on the point to say the least takes very quick decisions from the little I have seen.

I was also very high on Trouba, way underrated in the draft.. I had him ranked before Dumba and Reinhart.. When the Jets picked him, I went to the jets board to congratulate them for their steal...

I would if tomorrow wasn't NYE, but my sleep schedule is already going to be completely messed up as it is.

I wouldn't read too much into WJC....remember when Jack Johnson was suppose to be future stud....around WJC 2006 or 2007.

I still think he should have at least been drafted. Even in the 7th round. Kind of funny how it went down though.

Okay, I have not slept in... 48 hours now. Likely won't sleep tonight either, with family coming over for New Year's Eve party. Oh well.

Trouba has certainly improved since going to Michigan Wolverines, having Berenson coaching and Bennett as his partner he's getting a great apprenticeship.Jet fans can be very happy with their prospects at the WJHC's.

He is playing well for sure, but the 4 goals in 4 games is deceiving. That's not really his game. He has a good shot, but isn't a big time offensive d-man. To me he is more of a shutdown guy with a powerful skating stride who'll get 20-30 points depending on where he plays.

Miller and Grimaldi have been major disapointments for the amount of ice time they have been given so far.

Drouin promoted to top line with RNH and Schefele. Huberdeau gets dropped to the Strome Rattie line.

Collberg hit the crossbar on the PP earlier, would've been goal of the tournament if it had gone in, beautiful passing play to set Collberg up for the one-timer.

What makes no sense is matching up your shut down pair vs Grigorenko and Kucherov instead of Yakupov(who is better and has more points).
