I don't really have a favorite but my least favorite is Southern.

Also those saying "Jersey"... I'm gonna guess you mean "North Jersey" because (most) people in Central/Southern NJ don't have that stereotypical NJ accent. Just sayin'

For some reason I absolutely can't stand the France french. Their accent, expressions and anglicisms drive me crazy and make me want to punch kittens.

Nm. Got my English accents mixed up. Yeah, Yorkshire is annoying. I was mixing it up with Somerset.

Wigan area is pretty grating too.

I never knew that the small English Channel island of Jersey had such a notorious accent.

favorite:
New Zealand
Austrailia
Eastern Europe

least:
North Jersey (think "Jersey Shore")

torn on:
Deep South

On one hand the southern accent, where it's still obvious what they're saying, is one of the less annoying accents out there if not a flat out amazing accent. But on the other hand you don't run into that so much. Often (usually?) it's so badly butchered that I borderline need a translator despite having lived here for 10+ years. It doesn't help that quite often those that fit into the later category happen to be among the dumbest people I've had the displeasure of meeting. It's less intelligible then authentic frontier gibberish.

Best:

Manc
Irish
Scottish
Bostonian
Afrikaans-accented South African English.

Worst:

Received Pronunciation, aka. Queen's English. AINEC. My blood boils with rage whenever I hear some smug **** speaking it, giving me the urge to rearrange their face with a baseball bat.

Also, Swedish, Danish and Finnish-accented English is horrendous, and yes, I do include my own accent in that statement.

worst: any eastern european accent (polish, czech, ukranian etc.) makes me think of dudes sucking on toothpicks 24/7, blowing their nose out by plugging one nostril with their finger.

As someone with 100 percent Indian ancestry, I also cast my vote for the Indian accent as being the funniest to listen to. Thank Jeebus I was born in Canada.

Ever seen the movie Fargo?

That's the accent I attribute to Palin; a thick North Dakotan accent. Born in Idaho, which is close enough.
