yeah because he shoots better than most players he has little to no chance of hitting 90? He's already a better offensive player than Benn with a year less in development.

Eberle is a better playmaker than Benn is, and that isn't likely to change, his hockey IQ and vision are superior, his shot is better, backhand is worlds better. Frankly I don't ever see Benn outproducing Eberle from this point on, barring major injury.

Kane, and it's really not close.

Jordan Eberle has hit 70 points once. Kane averages over 70 points over 5 NHL seasons.

Kane's career low in points bests Benn's career high in points.

Let's stop being ridiculous here.

No points aren't everything, but when career lows are beating career highs, it's pretty much over at points.

how old is Eberle? how old are his teammates? will any of his line-mates improve at all either?

The young guns in Edmonton already have chemistry buddy! and they're only going to grow as a team.

I'd take Patrick Kane every day of the week. I'm not Kane's biggest fan but I'm ****ing sick of seeing "intangibles this" and "attitude that" when Patrick Kane has won a Stanley Cup and is easily the most talented of the bunch.
By upside I mean who has the most room for growth in their game. Patrick Kane has already reached his offensive output ceiling at 88 points IMO while Eberle has been improving significantly every year. Eberle has the capability to be just like Claude Giroux

Why does Kane not have that potential, but Eberle does despite a worse rookie and equal sophomore season to what Kane had?

Guess the book is already written on Kane since he had a down year playing injured all 82 and at center for 50 games.

Kane is going to finish his career with a few top 5 scoring finishes. I've always been really high on him though.

Do you have any idea how hard it is to put up 90 points?
