1 game in give it 10 games, when are you gonna realize the Titan are not a top 5 contending team? You have such good youth I would be trading and going for it next year
You sure talk a lot for somebody who doesn't know anything...
I get what you're trying to say but you have no connection to the situation whatsoever, but you're talkin' like you're some kind of expert. Why don't you just wait until next season to see what happens instead of whining "OH EICHEL WILL NEVER SHOW UP, OH THE MOOSEHEADS ARE GONNA PAY HIM OFF.".
Lets get back to the topic at hand: Trades.
The Alex Lavoie situation in CB is interesting to me... Seems like hes done with the eagles.
Your right, I can't prove it. And if I could I wouldn't, doesn't make them innocent, doesn't mean that they are guilty. Can you prove that they are innocent ?
Halifax doesn't draw negative attention, If and when a Q team goes down, my money is on Moncton or SJ if its a Q investigation... I can't see Courteau going after QC.
I've been saying all along that I think he will report, don't know what your talking about. Why take him first if you think you won't get him to come play for your team ?
Not sure what MAD will do, takes time to turn things around...
Kinda sucks for him that he came into this mess, where a few players won't play. I'm not sure he was being given a fair chance.

On the Titan side, what we are seeing lately is a good young team deep 4 lines.
On the defense, the acquisitions of Gingras and Delorme are helping already:
Gingras was pairing last season with Gosselin in midget and they are getting along very well.... a pair for the future.
Delorme, in the absence of Brisebois and Fournier in RN, did very well on the top-4 and is showing flashes of somebody who could play #4-5 in Bathurst.
The trade for Pelletier is the one which strikes me as the homerun of the trades for the Titan....he has great potential offensively and gets along very well with Meredith whom he was playing Junior A with.
Walsh could be an interesting acquisition also.
All in all, although we lost Banville,Lyle and McGurty, there are a lot of positive vibes lately around the team.
One last word about Beaudry.....he is better than I thought; I would make that trade back anytime.
Finally Dupont is well liked by the players and is running very intensive practices and utilizes well his 4 lines, making everybody happy.
I would be very happy to finish the season with the present lineup but we could see another trade in the works for a top-6 player before the end of the trading period.
Dupont is a great coach, I'm surprised that he wasn't given a shot earlier. I think this was a good move.
Baie-Comeau acquires Poulin from Gatineau for a 2013 1st, and a player. Forgot his name.
I geuss the Piques are selling ?
Baie Comeau are getting fleeced. Poulin was highly touted when drafted but hasn't met expectations. He's an average second pairing dmen at best. No surprise Gatineau is selling, rough starts are rough starts but when it lasts until Christmas break , it's reality.
Well, if nothing else it gives Poulin a chance to play elsewhere. Poulin was being massively underused in Hull.
And Baie-Comeau is in fourth right now. If the standings stay the same, it just means that we got the 18th pick, rather than the 15th pick. Either way, it's a lot more than I would have thought we could get.
Overpayment on Baie-Comeau's side. Looks a lot like the Leblanc trade (former highly-touted top-5 pick in Q draft that has stagnated or worse after a few years in the Q) although I do expect Poulin to play fairly well for Veilleux. Even though I like the gamble, I would never have traded a first round pick for Poulin.
toughness......have you seen Kelly play? that doesnt add much toughness to your lineup...
I probably sould have expressed myself better...
Kelly will add size and puck control improvement down deep and along the boards and in the defensive zone to our 3rd-4th lines.
We have a lot of guys with skills for these lines like Lafontaine/Zboril/Pelletier and some with good defensive game like Stevens, but the Titan were lacking size since Davis' departuer and Banville's trade.
Adding Walsh and Kelly to Salvail will help greatly in that department.
