Jones is also used against the best lines. He's their #1 Dman.

Doesn't make me hate Trouba though. Had him really high in my list. Ahead of Rielly and Reinhart. Even though I'm not so sure anymore for Rielly, but that's another subject. Thought Trouba was one of the lone bright spots last year for USA, with Tinordi. Loved his physical game.

Reilly and Trouba both skate really well but Reilly is an offensive minded d-man while trouba is more suited to shutdown PK role, though his shot plays well on the PP point.

Great to see Collberg putting points on the PP. He is not really quiet on ES but honestly.....it's not surprising based on what's going on this year for him. Didn't have a whole lot of momentum coming in.

It would be a great change for the better coming over to NA and joining Hamilton for a year, hopefully Timmins gets the other Swede he wants this year over with him.I like both Ristolainen (Even though he's a bit of a hotdog)and Hagg for a 2nd round pick as well depends on whose left over from the 1st round.

Rasmus Ristolainen? As in the Finnish defenceman who is slated to go top 10-15?

He's also not swedish, as the post seems to indicate. No way he goes later than 15 overall. Risto is a stud.

Love seeing Collberg scoring. His shot is just incredible.

It's a little bit discouraging that he hasn't been producing on even strength and hasn't been very good either (out of the two games I've seen). With the year he's had though it is understandable.

Like seeing him at sixth in scoring, hopefully he continues the score and comes back with confident.

On a side note, does anyone know if he'll be headed back to Örebro after this? Or will he go to Frolunda? Mason Raymond just signed with Örebro, I wonder how that will affect his ice time.

I meant Hagg as a 2nd round selection, whilst I like both.I posted elsewhere about USA playing the Swiss which is wrong also they play the Czech team and Russia has the honor of beating up on the Swiss.

Jones needs a lot of coaching. Talent is there, obviously, but he is extremely raw, imo. Trouba is easily their #1 D-man.

I would want him too in the 2nd round. Wouldn't you?

But odds are he won't get there

Cut some slack on S Bah, would you. He gets excited, but it's never in a bad way. He's not the type of guy to bash on prospects because of his previous expectations. I find that he brings good things to those boards, and he's more often than not one of the first to point out players to watch.

Then why is Trouba not used accordingly? He had the best performance between the two , but he was playing against the other teams 2nd/3rd lines, not their best. Jones was out there for those.

People would have a different speech right now would Jones be playing in Trouba's role on the 2nd pair, I tell you. Takes nothing out of the amazing offensive play Trouba has offered so far though!

Andrighetto was one of the guys I wanted in the last tier of the draft. Fun player to watch. I would have went his way instead of the Nystrom way though I had no idea who Nystrom was....

He's still available to be drafted.

And another Yakupov rush dies. What a horrible tournament by him.

Do you think he'll get drafted this year?

He's pretty small which might be his knack.
