As long as you like good hockey he is an impossible player to hate.
This. One of my favorite players in the NHL, total warrior. And I don't think I've every heard anyone (fan or foe) say a bad word about him. From all accounts a real classy guy and a leader.

Richards (per the NHL in an article Aug 2012 ) has the 'distinction of being the only player in NHL history to win at every level' Some have come close but he's the only one with all of them.
That's pretty impressive and he's only 27, like Bob McKenzie said of him this past draft day, he needs to get another trophy case, he's got more team hardware than anyone playing the game.

During Bergeron's NHL 36 special, when he, Marchand several other Bruins were having dinner together, Marchand accidentally called Bergeron their captain. It was a funny moment
It's really quite interesting that the listed players have achieved so much tangible success and, at the same time, share many traits that are pervasive throughout this group. They are all offensively gifted, possess elite defensive awareness, and have incredible work ethic.
Amazing that he went from AA to AAA to the Q and in the NHL full time inside of 4 years.
Came out of nowhere....I missed him in training camp and wondered "who is this kid" when he made the team. Saw him play and very early on he was my favorite player.....and still is. The kid is humble, classy and has a work ethic bar none....hard to believe it was Marty Lapointe who mentored him.

Chara and Bergeron are basically share the captain role. One just has a "C" and the other an "A".
The most impressive part is that most of his higher awards have come after the concussion that almost ENDED his career... So glad he was able to return to his former self, and then some. He's been my favorite player since his rookie season.
