Don't know why I laughed so hard at this...

Just found out about them a couple weeks ago and their skits are so damn random.

They're meant to parody late-night infomercials and public-access TV. As someone who grew up watching a lot of both (don't ask), I enjoy them immensely.

The first time I watched a Tim and Eric sketch, I was reminded of this disturbing show from my childhood. Some of their sketches do a fantastic job of capturing that creepy "filmed in someone's basement" aesthetic that you get from public-access TV.

I was hooked instantly.

Zombotron your humor makes a lot of sense now.

That video is so damn creepy I thought it was one of their skits...

Have you seen the surfing skit? I laughed way too hard at that one. Awesome.

Yeah the parodies make tons of sense now.

How's driving to whistler looking like? Going with friend tomorrow in his van. He's got seasonal tires, and we'll be coming back the next day.

Roads are mostly clear till right before Whistler... then it gets VERY snowy. Be careful coming up if you have seasonals, I'd suggest looking into Studded winter tires if Whistler trips are going to be a normal thing. Seasonal tires barely work when Van gets a dump of snow, let alone in Whistler when one day of snowfall can match Vancouver's entire year.

Anyone good at hooking up electronics? Having a hard time trying to hook up my ps-lx300usb sony turn table up to our surround sound or even tv >:l

Happy New Year to y'all! Here's hoping the lockout ends soon for a great start to the new year, or a belated present from Santa, if you'd like.

As a non-native I have to ask. Is it normal that there was hardly any fireworks last night, or was it just because of the weather?

Not really, it's typical to not have many fireworks being fired. There isn't any big-time event of the sort either happening.

Go on youtube, look up "big bang theory without laugh track" and see how funny the show really is.

This.

IMO Big Bang is one of the worst shows on TV and is the worst comedy on TV...maybe Parenthood is worse. Not sure they are both pretty bad. Also Two and a Half Men is pretty bad as well. Too bad for all these shows Friends isn't on TV anymore.

Nuckles,

Two and a half men sucks. Agreed.

Anyways, current fav comedies are: modern family, community, parks and rec, psych, new girl, and the boondocks.

Yeah not good enough for replays for me, or to watch the entire show. I watched probably 3-5 seasons in total, but got over it. Was hilarious though. Love George.

I've probably seen every single episode of every single season 7 or 8 times now, and I still love watching it.

I just don't like many new shows anymore. They all seem the same to me. Cheesy, bad jokes covered up by laugh tracks.
