For the Swedes perhaps Arvidsson has been the MVP so far. Plays an effective game and has built his self-confidence now.

Not sure if any swede is good enough for the all star team, havent followed any other games than the swedish, just wanted to pick a candidate from tre kronor.

Scheifele, RNH, Galchenyuk
Rielly, Trouba
Gibson or Subban (flip a coin)

I've seen a bit of the other group but as nobody has really separated from the pack, I'll leave that alone at this point.

He has primary assists on both goals against Russia and Canada. He actually had a pretty poor game against SLovakia.

I'm surprised so many people have Galchenyuk. He's a great player, who's had a good tournement, but I wouldn't put him on the All-Star team. Especially considering that two of his teammates in Trouba and Gibson deserve to be on it, if you add Galchenyuk that's three Americans, on a team that's looked pretty bad beyond the Slovakia game.

Sven Andrighetto - Ryan Nugent-Hopkins - Dmitrij Jaskin
Xavier Ouellet - Jacob Trouba
John Gibson

If I had to do a second team...

Jonathan Drouin - Ryan Strome - Alex Galchenyuk
Mikael Wikstrand - Albert Yarullin
Andrei Makarov

Didn't notice it was for each group respectively (Not sure how I did that) but oh well.

Would probably do

Group A:
Sven Andrighetto - Emil Molin - Dmitrij Jaskin
Mikael Wikstrand - Rasmus Ristolainen
Patrik Bartosak

Group B:
Jonathan Drouin - Ryan Nugent-Hopkins - Mark Schiefele
Xavier Ouellet - Jacob Trouba
John Gibson

Group B:
xxx-RNH-xxx
xxx: could really be any of Scheifele, Strome, Drouin, Huberdeau, Galchenyuk, Dano, Kucherov, etc...

xxx-Trouba
xxx: could really be any of Rielly, Oullete, Yarullin, Harrington, etc...

Makarov/Gibson/Subban fused into one being...

LOL but on a more interesting note...
Instead of a top line I'd rather see what people actually thought an All-Star team would be for A vs B... as in 23 players...

We have cloned Dano in order to have two of him.

Probably should have cloned RNH now that I think of it.

Wish the Wings had Trouba. Partly because he's from where I live but also an Ouellet - Trouba pairing would be fun to watch.

He had one big game with 2 secondary assists and a 5 on 3 goal, Ouellet is matching his offense while being one of the go to defensive guys. Rielly gets sheltered more then anyone on team Canadas D besides Murphy, he plays no match ups with top lines and no PK.

Harrington and Ouellet are both playing better hockey then Rielly. Not to say Riellys been bad, but for a tournament all star team he isnt there.

Agree that Troubas been a beast but he took a pretty dumb penalty against Canada, gotta try to avoid that. Hes still been the best D in the tourney though

LOL you guys are pathetic

Second post of the thread has Hamilton in it, who has been inferior to both Ouellet and Reilly in almost every way during the tournament, but you choose to spew your BS

Take off the hate glasses and stop being butt hurt. It's hilarious

Anyways, every list should have RNH on it. This kid has been nothing short of fantastic
