To expound, Tung really hasn't shown F1 chops. Had a few nice A1GP finishes. had a few good GP2 runs...But, I'd have to think there are names FAR ahead of him. If Mike Conway couldn't break out of GP2 with his resume, Tung is hopeless.... Wondering if there's another Chinese driver out there.
I feel liek the next driver to really break out is going to be Felipe Nasr.

Pastor turned the corner in the last third of the season really.
Out of the choice of Perez in Malaysia, Hulkenberg in Brazil, and Maldonado in Spain; you would have to think about Pastor having the most impressive drive of the three (winning when under pressure from Alonso).

Finland's Valtteri Bottas will join Pastor Maldonado at Williams next season after the British team announced their 2013 driver line-up.
"In Pastor and Valtteri we have two of the most exciting talents in motor racing and I am especially excited about what 2013 can bring for Williams," team principal Frank Williams said in a statement.

Could we as finnish fans be spoiled with another legend / champion, as continuing for Häkkinen-Räikkönen.. When Kimi finally quits F1, we would have new star.
He sure is promising! But so was Kovalainen, hope Bottas can avoid Kovalainens mistake. You must give 110% when the chance is there!

It will be very interesting to see how this kid does. I don't know that much about him but I'm very curious about him, I hope he can live to his potential!
That is officially it for SpeedF1, their final broadcast is done. Huge dedication from those involved - they really did an amazing job with what little resources they were provided.
HRT couldn't find a buyer.....No surprise. The chassis was junk. They had no real assets because most of their stuff was rented. they're officially off the roster for 2013.
And yes, there's talk of Turkey going back on the FIA calendar since neither Port Imperial or Paul Richard are ready. Personally, I'd rather see Hockenheim on the schedule instead of Turkey, but there's no questiong the track in turkey being a pretty good one....Especially the Turn 8 complex....
Shoot..Someone modernize Imola and let's race there!

Either Hockenheim or Nurburgring will be in for Germany. Would like to see Imola as well but it's unsafe apparently.
David Hobbs, Steve Matchett, and Will Buxton will all jump over to NBC Sportsnetwork for F1, which is great news. A bit unsurprisingly, Bob Varsha won't be going. Instead, Leigh Diffy will be doing the play by play.

they kept ALMS under the Speed/Fox Banner, which Diffey had been doing.
