Just told the woman about a Harry Potter parody they're doing next Sunday in the city...

I've never seen a second of any Harry Potter movie, and have no interest in ever doing so. Going to miss playoff football for that crap.

A parody on something I don't know a damn bit about other than that they're wizards. Doubt I'll understand any of the jokes they reference.

You know I didn't care for the Harry Potter stuff but when I actually sat down and watched films (I think I started watching about time 3rd one came out ,, And caught up)

Its pretty entertaining

I have been watching Twilight Zone marathan on SyFy ,,,,,,, Man I forgot how depressing some of the endings to these episodes are

I personally have zero imagination for science fiction in general, just doesn't interest me and I take things too literal... Would never be able to get into something about wizards and stuff even with how well it might be done form the producers and stuff.

What exactly is there to do in Iowa City?

Not an insult, if it came across that way, just don't know anything about the place.

Ah, gotcha. Well can't go wrong with that. Will be spending about 8 hours in the airport today drinking on Delta's dime before I catch my flight up to you guys. Love these stupid ass Sky Lounge things they have.

Oh God, for how awful and busy the company is at the end of the month, how laid back the company is at the beginning of the month is downright amazing. Already caught up with what I need to do for the remainder of the week and, barring the likely addition of another couple of closings, all I have left to do is wait for a single lender to get their figures sent over.

Until then, just get to relax.

Almost, almost makes up for the hectic **** show that is the end of the month.

And now enjoying a reheated steak I grilled over New Year's for lunch at the office.

This high protein, low-carb diet ain't all bad.

Nope, never had a fish I liked. I steer away from it as a result. Can't even remember the last time I've had fish, must've been at least five years.

Give something like halibut a try... It's a meatier fish, almost steak like, and doesn't have a fishy taste or smell.

I think I've had it, but if memory serves I was underwhelmed. A long while ago though, and if I find the need to have a fish to add some pizazz to my diet, I'll keep that in mind.

Also, realizing that relying on my Weber grill outdoors for cooking will be a pain the rear with how cold it is, so probably going to be looking at low-carb microwave options going forward, too. At least until I get a freaking replacement stove already.

Get one of these for the Weber if you don't have one already. You put the charcoal inside, set it on top of the grill (with only a single piece of loose leaf stuffed under and between the grill) and you have fully orange coals in a matter of a minute or two.

Interesting.... I'll keep an eye out for it. Just a "chimney charcoal starter?"

Note, it's a small grill, only about two feet tall, if even that.
