It's quite amusing, I try and guess to see how long before you turns it over or loses it. What a waste of space.

Pass from Galchenyuk goes out of the zone. I wonder what Barber was doing there... looking the other way and didn't have his stick on the ice.

Galchenyuk coming in to defend Murphy. Takes a couple of punches from Hertl.

See, sometimes a season means something. Kuraly has a whopping 4 points in 18 games with his NCAA team. Then watch Gaudreau's record in the NCAA as well.

It's better cause he gets a free shift once he leaves the box. Might just get back out there quicker than he would have had he gone back to the bench!

At least in 2 minutes he'll get 6 seconds of ice time skating to the bench

The other way. Hertl hit Alex cleanly and they started chipping at each other and Murphy+Vesey come to defend.

Takes a penalty just to stay away from Housley and Kuraly

I'm totally fine with Galchenyuk not playing now. It's getting ugly.

Hertl was a wrecking ball that shift. After the hit on Galchenyuk, he clocked Murphy and that's when Galchenyuk came in and gave him a cross check. It looked like Galchenyuk was going off for a line change when that was happening.

If it would be to rest him for the rest of the tournament.....but it's not. So let's be happy they are resting him for the rest of the year in Sarnia.

True. You do use your 4th liners at the end of a game like that.

Galchy could have played for Russia? what is the story behind that...why didn't he? (some kind of training camp story?etc).

And, Galchy could have played for Belarus, right? no that Belarus is in the wJC this year, but just thought that Galchy had the right to play for them, no?

I think it would/could have been a lot more interesting to see Galchy play for Russia...since Housley is playing Galchy like he is Russian/Belarussian.

Housley is really ruining the enjoyment of the Galchy WJC experience.

Hopefully Housley will pull the loads of **** out of his *** and give Galchy more ice-time. This is becoming ridiculous.

Galchy is probably no.1 in the tournament for pts per minutes played. **** Housley. It does make me wish USA would lose since they're not giving any ice-time to Galchy (2nd in pts in tournament and this is the treatment he gets? **** Housley).

If there's a record for least TOI for a 3rd overall pick at the WJC, Galchenyuk is going to break it.

Galchenyuk can always work on his explosiveness but Yakupov doesn't have Galchenyuk's smarts(at least from what I've seen). That's why I think he's a better prospect.

I think that's where you can see how his injury has set him back a bit is in his first step. He lost a full year of working on that. He'll just be scary if he can get that going.
