Corey Crawford shouldnt even be in this conversation.

From now on he should be known as "The guy in Chicago".

Thanx

Gustavsson will steal Howards job in the next season or the one after.

Your math is really off, and this is coming from someone who is terrible at math

Maybe I under-estimate him, but his .902 S% isn't that impressive. Hopefully, he'll prove me wrong.

Luongo is going to Edmonton, so I don't think Dubnyk will do well until he is dealed.

I would say Reimer, easily. Very underrated goalie. Then I would have to go with Neuvirth, Bernier, and Subban.

Yup. Mrazek's a stud too. Love his game.

Allaire ****ed up Gustavsson's game real hard during his time as Leaf's goalie coach. In his first season or so from Sweden Gus was unreal.

In terms of pure goalie skills Gustavsson is every bit as good if not better than Howard in that regard IMO. What Gus lacks is the technique and refinement that Howard has, and I truly believe over the course of the next season or so, Gus will gain a lot by being away from Allaire.

Its a similar case with Reimer, he was pretty decent when he came up and then he got screwed by Allaire. Granted, Reimer does not have nearly the same lights out potential that Gustavsson has.

Another name I can see that no one else has mentioned yet is Karri Ramo. Kipper's days are numbered as a number 1 goalie. Ramo has the game to become a starter in the NHL and if it doesn't happen on the Flames it will happen on another team sooner or later.

I can see why everyone thinks Markstrom is the next big thing. But I have my reservations about him. 2 major knee surgeries in a span of 2 years for a goatlender is nothing to scoff at.

He's behind Rask but I'll say Khudobin.

Reimer and Neuvirth have already had seasons where they were the either starting tenders or split games, I wouldn't say they qualify

It is absolutely inaccurate to completely throw gustavssons failures on Allaire.

Explain to me IN DETAIL how that goal is Allaire's fault.
If you want to say that's only one goal, go look up roughly half of the goals the "monster" allowed and explain to me how it's directly allaire's fault.

What gus lacks is NHL talent. Maybe allaire wasn't the best goalie coach for gustavsson, but to pin the blame on him is absolutely inaccurate and misguided.

Oh yeah, so was reimer just not coached by allaire for those 37 games when he got called up.

No idea what is going on with Florida's goaltending situation. So I'll go with Lindback.
