If dentists make their money from unhealthy teeth...

Why do we use products that 4 out of 5 of them recommend?

Dentists make their money from keeping teeth healthy, not letting them get unhealthy.

An oral surgeon removes wisdom teeth, not a dentist.

Not sure how this can be.

It is my understanding that your bottom ones will continue to grow and since there is no top teeth to stop them this will cause problems in the future.

I'm not a dentist, nor oral surgeon, but I did stay in a Holiday Inn once.

I think that depends on the status of the wisdom teeth. If they've already come in, I think a dentist deals with it at that point.

I've always wondered if unscrupulous dentists drill healthy teeth or enlarge cavities...

I had a tooth killed during a cavity drilling that turned into a root canal. The dentist seemed to be a bit of a weasel, coming back a week later i heard him on a phone call when I came back in bragging about how he saved money at the movies by sneaking in the back door someone left opened.

What kind of dentist doesn't have the money to pay for a movie ticket?

of course he had the money, they make about 60 bucks an hour. He saw an opportunity to rip off a theatre and did it.Unlike things like petty shoplifting, the theater only kicks ypeople out if they catch them instead of having them arrested . I really questioned the validity of my root canal after that, of course he'd already done the root canal before I found what a weaseling sneak he was.

I remember reading a while back about a dentist who claimed that most wisdom teeth removals were unnecessary, and pretty much cash grabs. He's since been shunned by the dental community.

I wonder why...

EDIT: hey, 33,000!
