Milwaukee beat Rockford 2-1 on Friday. Roussel fired a slapper from near the right point. Lajunen deflected it in the slot through Hutton's 5 hole. It was Lajunen's first goal in Milwaukee this season. I didn't see Roussel in the third period. That has been the case in the last three home games that I have attended.
Bang, Valentine, Maclellan and others were scratches. Latta had 2 fights. Mueller had a TKO in his fight. I think Rockford may avoid him in the future. Smith should have tossed a shutout, but he chased a puck into the circle and never re-established good position in the crease during a scramble.

OKC was shut-out 3-0 by the Texas Stars yesterday but made up for it tonight with a 6-2 beating. Schultz had 2 goal, Eberle had 2 helpers and Hall had a goal. Hall got into a fight aswell!
Binghamton fell 6-5 in the Shoot-out to Rochester on Friday. Jessiman, Eckford, Silfverberg, Benoit and Wiercioch all scored for Bingo. Binghamton took on Rochester again tonight and came out with a much better result. They won 5-1! Prince, Benoit, Stone, Silfverberg and Hoffman all scored for us.

Milwaukee beat Peoria for the second straight night (2-1) and (4-1). Their 3 game win streak is their longest of the season. Peoria has a large and mobile team. They are hard to play against.

Milwaukee lost to OKC 3-2 in a SO after leading for 50 minutes of the game. They should have won, but they sat on the 2-0 lead in the third period, took a couple of bad penalties and gave up 2 PP goals. The last one was around 2:30 remaining in the third period. Ouch!
Official attendance was 3685. Real attendance was about 3000.

The Binghamton Sens took on the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins tonight and were victorious, with a 3-1 win. Goals scored from Da Costa, Gryba and Hoffman. With that win we stay 2nd in the East Division with 47 points, 5 points behind the #1 Syracuse Crunch but with a huge lead over the other teams in our division. In points we're 2nd in the Eastern Conference but really in 4th as we're still trailing the Crunch but in front of Portland and Springfield who are leading there division. We're also in points the 2nd best team in the AHL, first being the much talked about Syracuse Crunch..
I find it funny that we go from Calder Champs to Worst in the League to almost top of the league. I guess that's how it is with good prospects coming and going.
