In terms of variety and available stock, Goaliemonkey.com is pretty solid.

If you sign up for Total Hockey's membership thing, you can rack up a ton of points from buying goalie gear.

Depends on what you are looking for. I agree with panda about Total Hockey, but I'd also take a look at donsimmons.com as well.

Being in CA, I buy almost everything from IW because its basically free overnight shipping. Their stock is limited though so depending on what you want and need, they may not be a viable option.

However, their customer service is amazing and they ship same day. I've had the tiniest orders for tape take over a week from Hockey/GoalieMonkey

You're in Michigan? Buy from your LHS.

For glove and blocker, Simmons. 997 glove is awesome, especially with skate lace pocket and split-t.

I agree that IW has a limited selection, but from my experience they have the best prices on the stuff that they do have. And you get 10% off if you join the IWIN club.

Lately they've been restricted more and more by manufacturer's approved pricing so the 10% doesn't apply to new stuff

They are definitely legit. Their gear is pro level both in terms of protection and construction. Love my Simmons gear (have a 2nd set that should be here any day now).
