Yes great goal by Masto, but for a goal of the year award thats horrible to be honest well, sm-liiga doesnt really have ´´pretty goals´´ more of the classical one-timer or hardworking goals, either way thats a pretty goal.
I prefere Junnilas goal over that though, and i am a Jokerit fan.
8-1? Good thing I wasn't watching that otherwise I might have ended up punching my monitor. I guess after winning the championship back in 2011 they just decided to collapse.
Defender Patrik Parkkonen with his first point in SM-liiga as Ässät tie it 2-2 in the second period against Espoo Blues. A small good thing in this mess of a team at the moment.
Probably wouldn't had to wait for his 7th game to do that if he got some time on the powerplay maybe instead of your typical tough defensive defenceman Tapio Sammalkangas, but what can you do.

Also scored in the SO in against Ässät just before that game with a nice wrist shot to the top corner. Hopefully he gets it going.

I hope, but i think next season he will get more ice time for sure
I'd imagine many of the top-10 scorers of forwards and defencemen still left in the league after the NHL-players have left, and maybe some goaltenders (Raanta, Engren, Ortio, Tarkki, Koskinen). Maybe even some rather big names, who haven't had much success this season like Ville Koistinen.
Will be interesting to see if something gets done.

How was Kurtis Foster in the SM Liiga with Tappara during the lockout?
Based on the comments of some Tappara-fans he was overall a solid defeceman and looked like a professional. Good movement for a big guy, made the right decisions and had a good shot. Some trouble with reading the play when on the defensive, but still one of the better defencemen on the team.
