It shows both sides are finally serious about getting this deal done. Hopefully as I stay up for the US/Can game I see a deal is done via twitter.
EDIT: Doesn't look like a deal will be done tonight according to Botta
yeah, i'm staying up to, don't have work till Monday. As jacky bam bam would say lets plug in the coffee I V and punch in our full time vampire union cards as we rock the 3rd shift aka the red eye.
when this gets done, Krishna and prong if you want ill treat you to a delassandros cheesesteak, the place is like 2 min from the house.
Alright I will take the cheesesteak, while I am at it I have to buy Krishna a beer too. Well that's at least what he claims. lol.
Lots of people also don't really trust Botta also. I am not saying a deal gets done tonight, but it doesn't seem outlandish. Especially when Dreger and other aren't reporting too much.
tsn.ca just somewhat updated it's website and they have lebrun / Darren doing an update.
interesting besides the pension issue, the other one that he brought up in this video. PA wants the NHL to come up on year 2 salary cap which is at 60, PA wants it at 70 which NHL said no numerous times, so I'm hoping they both will agree around 65.

will have to meet at delassandros henry ave / walnut lane, right by the walnut lane golf course / across from the Sunoco gas station.
not now but when you both have free time.
can't beat rib eye cheesesteaks, with fried onions and for me hot banana peppers
"they move closer on some issues, still apart on others"
Mediation was involved today.
now that was a surprise, to hear mediation
pnotch, dreger, pierre all have the same thing players leaving with no comment. I wonder if Fehr told them not to say anything, plus fehr will address.
I like that the mediator was there, but more importantly it wasn't mentioned by any media members. Hopefully they keep everything in the dark right now and worry about getting a deal done instead of leaking info.
prong n kirshna, I heard D Fehr speak, he said pretty much nothing, didn't want to say much you could also sense he was exhausted.
dreger, lebrun said on there tsn report
the year 2 salary cap NHL of course is at 60, I thought PA was at 70, but now I heard they started the pa at 65. so besides the pension, the year 2 cap was a big issue.
so NHL has been saying no past 60 in year 2 and hasn't budged, but with mediation now in place, I wonder if they will meet in the middle 62 or 63 for year 2

Maybe they will meet at 65 with the PA giving in on pensions somewhat. Make them compromise on the major issues. Mediation has been there all week also according to Lebrun.
Ugh! This is getting so "pins and needles" at this point. I feel like any minute a deal will be done, or the whole thing will blow up and we won't see hockey this year.
