No points yet but I still think that was Gally's best period since the Germany game.

Is there a thread on our board cheering for Canada? I <3 Gally too, but right now I need some consolation that we can dig ourselves out of this against a dominant US team. Not ONE decent entry into their zone.

lol!! (lots of animals/dogs/monkeys/birds,etc...doing lots of tricks on Youtube!!).

I guess it's...Go USA Go!!?!! (but plenty of time for Can to make it 2-2 or 3-2...plenty of time... only 1/3 of the game has elapsed...plenty of hockey coming up!).

And, Jake Mccabe with 2 goals!! tabarouette!!

Looks like Subban has a bit of early-vintage Carey Price attitude going with the "WTH" gesture at his Ds after the second US goal.

Now we see the importance of blow out wins over teams like Slovakia and Czech Republic. Two teams that were having decent tournaments, but the US rolled right through the both of them and came out with all sorts of confidence. Now, they need to continue this aggressive forecheck and heavy backcheck and the game should be theirs. Just keep working hard and playing the body.

To be fair, that's two goals scored on him while he was completely screened. His D have to start clearing the front of the net.

His D are what needs to be cleared from the front of the net.

To be fair, the US has been using the trailing D over and over yet our 5 guys let Mcabe walk in with a screen both times. Can't blame Subban for being frustrated for that AWFUL coverage (thanks Reilly).

...but I know what you mean. It's just those Subban genes that want to win badly.

No doubt about that. But I remember Price getting a lot of crap for doing pretty much the same kind of thing.

is it must me or has the reffing been fantastic. Last U.S. game they called everything, now they're calling nothing. That's the way to do it.

Gaudreau with Gally as his center...they would have ripped this tournament apart.

Gaudreau, 3-0. The little guy can shoot. Man oh man, maybe Czechs weren't as terrible as we thought cause right now the USA is making Canada look about as bad. It ain't over yet though. Canada is tlented enough to wake up and turn on the engines on a dime. That's why USA is probably going to keep aiming for goals and won't stop till they're full and content. That bye hurt Canada more than it helped while the QF berth did the opposite for the Americans.

True. But it's getting tougher to blame anybody right now...Total domination. Though Canada is helping by being scared and disorganize.

Kuraly with another bizarre play while that line is attacking.

Next thread has to be the Kuraly edition.

I'm fascinated more and more every time he steps on the ice.
