This is what I'm talking about with it being a bad year for college football. Any other year, this Florida team is no better than 4 losses and would have been happy playing in the Gator Bowl, but since they were ranked #3 they had an automatic berth.

Such a shame Georgia had to play the SEC championship game and thus fall below Florida. Murray vs Bridgewater would have been a fantastic matchup.

What???

No one in their right mind, expected Louisville to smoke Florida like this whether the Gators were overrated or not. This is a massive upset. You talk about SEC homers but the SEC haters might be even worse. Maybe not quite but close.

Can't wait for tonight's game. I'd love to see Kansas St. pull it off. It'll be interesting to see if their D can contain Oregon's offense.

teams with unusual offenses tend to struggle in bowl games because the other team has so much time to study their offense and learn it. One of the reasons GT has struggled so much in bowl games, and why it was such a shock to see them knock off USC.

I thought Bridgewater was great all year. If I made it sound like tonight was his coming out party for me, that's not what I meant.

The only game he struggled that I watched was in their loss to Syracuse.

UGA > UF. They were just punished, for lack of a better term, because they had to play an extra game.

Im just happy the Dawgs beat them (which may have been the worst played game of the year), but Florida did beat LSU and South Carolina at home, and won at A&M and FSU (honestly dont know how they won any of those games). So while on the field the Gators arent as good as the Dawgs, they had the much better resume.

I just really hope that Driskell is the starter next year, Gary Nova did more the 1st half against the Cardinals than Driskell did for the entire game .

Louisville dominating Florida was surprising. Louisville winning the game was not the massive upset ESPN made it out to be though. I thought Florida being favoured by 2 TDs was absolutely laughable. Them being the #3 seed was a matter of unusual circumstances in generally weak year for college football, that had a great deal of parity in the top half of the SEC. It's simply not shocking at all to see a team with an offense as poor as Florida's lose a game to the champion of another AQ conference. ESPN was acting like Louisville was Arkansas State or something.

You act like ESPN or SEC "homers" set the lines or something. Vegas bookies are the ones that thought it would be a blowout, and given that they make money hand over fists with sports betting, it's no surprise people in general weren't giving Louisville a chance, but any knowledgeable football fan who knows how bad Florida's offense can be and how good Bridgewater is weren't completely writing off Louisville.
