they’re turnin’ kids into slaves just to make cheaper sneakers
but whats the real cost? cuz the sneakers don’t seem that much cheaper
why are we still paying so much for sneakers when you’ve got little kid slaves making them?
what are your overheads?
I'M on my feet all day and wear out tennis shoes in about 4 months.I get Dr Scholls tennis shoes at walmart for $30 ,they are great for walking/standing and last longer then name brand shoes. I have some Puma and Adidas for when I'M not working and they last a very long while as I only wear them a few hours a month.Call them my dress type shoes. They are for going out. I wear boots if I wear jeans,I would never wear tennis shoes and jeans, looks stupid.
I dont think theyre ugly, theyre better than plain white or plain black shoes. Plus they will be getting dirty anyways.
Those are totally ugly ,unless your in outer space. Plain white is the only way to roll but they must be kept clean. Get with it and buy some ol'school Adidas clamshells.

All the money that we're making is going to the man.
What man?
Which man?
Who's the man?
When's a man a man?
What makes a man a man?
Am I a man?
Yes. Technically I am.
Is this a post your athletic shoe collection thread?
Ew
I have a couple pairs of Air Force Ones, and yes they are overpriced, seeming how they are prob made for less than a dollar in some sweatshop. I still buy them though.

Oh my god, why do people insist on quoting posts that have a million images in them?
And I read once the average pair of nike running shoe is worth about $8 between materials, labor and distribution costs.
Why not? If I like something, I buy it. That's not even all of them lol.
Because it's impractical? It's not like you can wear any of those to go out ... it's like having 50 Nike and UnderArmour shirts for the gym instead of just using some old rags that you don't wear anymore.
The Fargo economy will continue to receive my business. I spend as little money as possible in my home nation. Every time I spend a buck I get violated by government taxes. Fargo doesn't violate me. Its nice.
I usually buy the cheapest athletic shoes Walmart carries. Other than that I own a pair of Dr Martens and a pair of leather army boots for the winter that I bought 15 years ago.

If you don't pay taxes how will the government enforce your beloved marijuana laws?
I used to be a shoe salesman, and before I worked there, I was in the boat of I'm not going to pay more than like $65 for a pair of shoes. But after working there I will spend whatever it takes to find comfort.
Usually there is a reason a pair of shoes cost $50 or under (not counting sale shoes), usually because they are poorly made, don't last long, or are only comfortable for a short period of time.
The classic saying you get what you pay for comes in to play here big time. Expensive shoes usually are better. I hate to say it but shoes are one thing people shouldn't skimp on. They can actually improve your quality of life if you get the right shoes for your feet. they can improve your feet, posture, back etc. Think about how much time you spend with shoes on. I'll bet most people spend most of their time with shoes on.
I'm not rich by any means but I will make sacrifices so I can spend money to get the right shoes.
