Youre a guy who posts on the hockey fights board, of course you want those guys in the NHL but that doesnt mean its realistic to have them in a line brawl line up. The chances those guys play 2 games nexy season are slim
Liambas is 5'9 and while a solid pound for pound guy is nothing to write home about. I agree Sill is a tough guy for sure but Liambas is not a good measuring stick for that

I already said hes a legit tough guy, all I'm saying is how on earth is Liambas the guy you choose to show that. Liambas is nothing special, standard solid tough guy, not much of a heavyweight
unlike some of the AHL scrubs that a few posters are putting in their lineups, Lane MacDermid actually has played a few games in the NHL for the Bruins and has a good shot at being the 13th forward (if there is a season this year) because he can do more than just fight. so if he does make it our lineup could look like...

yea, he's a beast. but macintyre is also a scrub who shouldn't (and probably won't) see much time if any at all in the NHL. if there was a line brawl all the guys i mentioned would actually have a realistic shot at being in the lineup and on the ice.

no. to say he could handle Thornton isn't fair given what Thornton has shown in the NHL in his career. he has fought bigger/ tougher guys and shown he can hang with them and beat some of them. Engelland could certainly beat Thornton in a fight, he is very tough, but Thornton could just as easily beat him.
I think Chara and Lucic could hang with Engelland as well.

i agree, but it still was a hell of a fight and MacDermid got some shots in as well. MacDermid has some skill and will either be 13th forward or one of the first call ups for the Bruins this year.

Chara bails on most of his fights. I think Thornton would be the only guy who would pose a huge threat to Engelland. Bobby Robbins would be another one.

Simultaneously? Because this is about line brawls... so maybe you'd then have one "draw" in the brawl, but the Bruins likely would win the other 3-4 fights going on. Which is the point, and why we should be using our realistic rosters, not random prospect and AHL scrub goons.
for a guy who don't even know is ahl team and who think Murray is a great fighter, you shouldn't mess with MonsterSurge.

First of all I said I don't know much about our AHL FIGHTERS, not the team. Second, I've been watching hockey for about twenty years, own several fight tapes, and have watched pretty much all of Murray's fights. Not saying I'm as well-versed in the fight game as MonsterSurge, but I'm not talking out of my *** either. Lastly, I posted that pic because I think it's funny when people post a single photo to prove or disprove an argument (i.e. a photo of Burke holding the Cup over his head must mean he's a great GM).
