I as a fan and season ticket holder hope they try to add a bit to have a bit of playoff success but my gut tells me Savard will sell off I dont think we will get near as much as what we are expecting for our players and next yr will be a disaster year and will be the end of the fanchise on PEI thats just my prediction
A disaster is pei thinking they can compete with the top teams, buying at christmas and then losing in the first round of the playoffs.....that would really kill the fan base as next year will be awful as players such as currie, duffy, micalef, beran, pavelka will be gone for sure and then you would have to offer up players such as yetman, trickett, laliberte and graves for help this year.
Rebranding the name next year the team will want to be competitive so sell big and big very competitive for the next 2 years....it's not like many fans are at the games now to upset.

I wouldn't call Arseneau, Johnston or Donnelly heart and soul players
As for PEI, they aren't really in year 2. They are either in year 3 and need to go for it, or they are in year 3, but need to delay things by selling Duffy and making some moves to backfill. The former suggestion makes more sense.
It's a solid lineup. They should go for it, give experience to the kids, and get some good young players for next season. Dwyer's got them playing some tough hockey, there's no reason this team can't have success again next season even without Duffy and Currie.
Oligny will be back on D, Lagacé should bring back a good return if he's moved, Laplante will be there for a full season, the youngsters like Graves, Marcotte, Pépin, Chenier-Allard will all be greatly improved and you'll have space for two new euros.
I wouldn't go all out for it... Maybe add 2 pieces... Like you said # 57

I have PEI in there with VDO and ROU because they are on that level... Those 3 have the potential to surprise if they make a move, all 3 are in good shape for next year as well..

What a beautiful game by Yan-Pavel Laplante. Intense, he has the complete package. He is gritty, good defensively, solid IQ and he has good puck skills. I was very impressed ! Imagine if he would have been there since the beginning of the season...
This gives the Rocket some good depth with an experienced D and solid goaltending in Bibeau .. It's great to see Laplante back as he's a great young player and makes the Rocket that much better ....
I see them ending the 1st round elimination streak this year.
Laplante sure has brought a new look to the lineup the whole team is playing better and Troy Vance after having a rouh first couple games is playing vary well we have a nice d core and now a ecent looking forward core
How has Vance looked so far for you guys? Rumor is he's slated to join the Texas Stars after your season is finished. Any reports and an update on your playoff chances would be appreciated.
