Best G-D-F combo...

What team has the best G-D-F combination of the same nationality? How many of these combinations are there in the NHL?

Quick - Scuderi/Greene - Brown for LA

Not too familiar with the other teams.

I can do a future one for Minnesota, using the Swedes...

Larsson - Brodin - Gustafsson

In the NHL, probably has to be Crosby - Letang - Fleury

I'd swap in Scuderi.

In a few years Ottawa will have:

Lehner - Karlsson - Silfverberg (and maybe Zibby)

That should be a pretty sweet Swedish GDF combo.

Schneider - Ballard - Kesler
Luongo - Hamhuis - Burrows
Lack - Edler - Sedin

None of them really pop out.

So Crosby is the weak link? None of these other forwards are comparable in this thread

Clearly forwards are the best way to win a championship.

Indeed. It must be why the Pens won the cup with a star filled defensive roster and super dependable in any circumstances Fleury. Crosby and Malkin who?

I was originally going to put Lehner - Karlsson - Alfie but who knows how much longer Alfie will be playing. I was referring to when Lehner, EK and Silf will all be in their prime - by that time I'm not sure Alfie will be playing. He might - but we don't know.
